Good Day, I picked up an Academy yesterday. I need to find the smallest left and right speakers that would come close to a match. If I have any chance of using it I need small. Any suggestions, ideas, guesses? If it doesn't fit in a hand the speaker is off to the storage locker! "marantz1"

Good Day, We are in the middle of a huge downsizing at home. I need advice in which Quintet 5.1 version to acquire. I've heard good things about the lll's but not much on any of the other models. Anyone have any first hand knowledge or advice on another small speaker set-up? I prefer second hand equipment over new. I prefer the hunt! Any and all information is appreciated. Thanks for the info. I may not have been clear about the posting. I do not own an academy. (currently there is one on eBay). I'd be very interested in additional information about the short horn. At home we rescue dogs why not a speaker! Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. BTW I am not going to be bidding on the academy Regards, skramer

I am a proud owner of original Hereseys and Fortes I recently acquired a Fisher 500 Mono Receiver. It has been serviced as sounds wonderful. My question/problem is this. I'm limited to a small space for a speaker and wonder if anyone has any first hand experience with an Academy as a stand alone speaker in a Mono setting. If anyone has additional suggestions, I welcome them. Thanks Skramer
