  1. Bottom line is that there is a flaw or issue with the docking system. If you read a report here and you can read about 50 or 10 people that have issues, truest me multiply that by 100 or more for the ones that don't use the net, or know they're outside the warrantee and can't do anything about it. What I want to hear and see is a damn replacement for sale, I read that is back-ordered for months and months! If Klipsch is uncapable to deliver, source out to Korea, China or Taiwan and I'm sure they can get one out in a week or two. Another would be have a 3rd party or OEM product out there as a replacement and start ebaying them... Another is take them back to Costco or if they have them for sale, just buy, return old ones.. or everyone that has problems with them I encourage them to write to their vendor/Costco where they purchase them and maybe they get dropped from future stocks to sell. What it looks like they made millions off iFi through Costco and now they turned their backs on their customers. We're not asking for freebies but replacement docks, release your schematics to someone that's willing to manuf. and sell them.
  2. After suffering like many many others here with their sound/volume control/docking station and googling some time, came up with the forums. Can someone confirm that if I buy a Volume / iFi Doc Assembly will my system work or is that the problem behind my 'out of control sound" while using the wheel to control volume. It either goes very high pitch volume or crackling or only right or left side works. Maybe after playin for awhile with the controller I can get both speakers to play. I started using a 3.5 mm aux cable and bypass the controller. I just put it to max volume and controll ipod manual. I don't dare use the remote for it because one click of volume and my system just goes whack! Can anyone suggeste a similar system? with a remote that goes through walls and same output power. I am in the market of maybe upgrading my system and don't want to buy another Klipsch because I'd run into the same issue next year. Bottom line, if I buy the controller will it work and if so, for how long and what's the warantee on the controller? Thank you, p.s. for people that purchased it online or at Cosco, go online @ amazon and review the product.
  3. Thank you very much... I also asked the ebay forum/Klipsch and got my answer, I am on my way to Radio Shack to buy two of them and one for my PC. Thanks again.
  4. I took the battery out about a week or so ago to buy a new one. I lost the battery, I need to know what type of battery I need to buy from Radio Shack or online. I would use my PC's battery from CMOS but that's probably the wrong size. If someone is kind enough to open their remote and let me know. I couldn't find it here in the forums, nor the site specs on the product or anywhere else.. I tried googling for awhile and I gave up. Hope the answer here will help for future searches and information..
