  1. I've got a working Parasound HCA800-II that I'd like to trade for a reasonable vintage SS integrated tuner/amp. 80s-90s digital tuner / display is fine, I don't care about the silverface era as long as the tuner is reasonably selective and the chassis is reasonably compact: This is for desktop duty in my home office.

The 800-II is in very good condition, and will be re-tested before any trade hookup (it's been in storage for about 2 years, and was in rotational use prior to that.)

I'm hoping for something from NAD, NIKKO, Marantz, HH Scott, etc.

  2. Both have been claimed. If either taker falls thru I’ll re-open this thread.

Walnut KG2s, veneer in fair/good condition, missing one tweeter voice coil. Grills and badges intact.

    Pick up in 02050, 02370, or 02021

also have a K701 horn and driver if anyone wants it.

  3. Continuing my online yardsale, selling components and turntbles.

See my other ads for speakers: LaScalas https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/182529-wts-designer-la-scalas-birch-and-cane-clean-1750obo/ , KP301s https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/174676-pair-of-kp301-cosmetically-challenged-but-sound-great/ and Tangent 5000s https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/182661-wts-tangent-5000s/

I'll consider shipping at actual cost. I have access to lots of packing material and a loading dock, so no worries about the quality of packaging.

First up, I'm parting out a set of KG2s. One tweeter is missing the voicecoil, otherwise appear to be complete. Untested, if there's interest in the parts I'll ohm out the drivers.

Second, a few amps, tested and working flawlessly.

The boxes have been lost over the years, generally clean cosmetically (dust will be cleaned well before sale.)

Amp 1: Parasound HCA-800II. Both A and B speakers tested and working, currently in use driving the speakers I have for sale. $150

    Amp 2: Acurus A250. $300

Amp 3: Carver M-4.0t Silver Seven, silver/gray faceplate. $400 - I have used this bridged to drive a home theater sub with great results.

Pre/proc: Lexicon DC-1 - $BestOffer - Working, it's currently driving the speakers I have for sale. Remote is a little sketchy - I will try cleaning the battery posts.

Integrated 1: Fisher Studio Standard, big HEAVY solid state beastie. Untested, cosmetically clean. $Offers

Integrated 2: Placeholder text, I need to pull out and photograph. Also a solid state unit, late 70s early 80s I believe.

I also have several turntables for parts or repair: Two Dual 1019, a Thorens TD160, and a Benjamin Miracord  - $BestOffers - Pics on request.

  4. These have been sold. Thanks for the interest, all.

Selling a set of Tangent 5000s. Excellent working condition, very good cosmetic condition: The particle board carcasses at the bottom have a little swelling and chipping.

    $200/obo F2F in Southeastern Massachusetts.

  5. Wow - I think I need to turn on notifications!

Sincere appologies to all participants. Much life has happened in the last few years (some highly personal health stuff among other things.)

These are still for sale, as are my La Scalas and Tangent 5000s (look for other ads if interested.)

I'll also be selling off some interesting SS and maybe one vacuum tube amp.

They are in Southeast Massachusetts, available soon for listening. I'll get everything set up for testing this weekend.

  6. --Edit 04/16/19: The LaScalas have been sold.

--Edit: LSBL, consecutive serial numbers 31Y9xx with AL crossovers. Y in the serial number makes them 1983, as does the AL xover I believe.

--Edit2: Klipsch light-up sign has been sold.

Southeast Massachusetts. $1750/obo face to face, cash.

Downsizing my audio habit, selling more speakers.

Up for sale are my La Scalas. Circa 1982, if memory serves. They were home theater speakers for the original owner back when that meant 35mm projection!

I am the second owner. The first had glass tops fitted and the glass tops have been on since day one.

Original crossovers and components, never overdriven.

I'll have them upstairs and connected for demo soon.
