I really like the set up alot! I have the crossover at 100hz now, which I think sounds pretty good. I had a Kenwood 5.1 set up that's like eight years old, and the Quitns(with the sub-10) and the Yammy blow it away(no surprises). I just wanted a fairly affordable set up that sounds good, and in the price range (less than a $1000) there isn't anything comparable IMO.
My only concern with purcahsing the set up is with the durability. As I noted in my original post, My yamaha reciever is rated at 105 watts rms, and the quints are rated at 50 watts rms (75 for the center channel). With other equipment I have owned, this is usually a recipe for disaster, but my salesman (and countless others) swear up and down that it won't make a difference. I guess I kinda believe them, because after all they are Klipsch speakers, but time will tell.
I should also note that the the synergy sub-10 is godly! It is easily the best 10" subwoofer I have heard in a comparable price range, very nice piece of equipment at a good price.
