  1. I would like to know what single drivers would work on the K-260 horn. (bolt on type) from MCM or MCM1900 Is there an adapter that you could get, where you would be able to use a single K-55-V screw on to mate with a 2" bolt, ...don't know if that is even possiable or practical? Any help would be appreciated as to my options and where I might be able to buy what would be needed. Othewise I will sell it and just use K-400 horn. This is being used for a center channel (Crites woofer and tweeter combination) Thanks!
  2. I have a PAIR of Klipsch AK-3 Crossover but not the woofer filter section network, does anyone know where I could find that network or have someone build it? Or is their a work around? Thanks for any help
  3. bhendrix, I was wondering... the measurements of your Jubilees.., as you have them right now.
  4. K-402/K69 I have to agree as well (My choice), all interesting points though
  5. Wow, and I thought the K402 was beautiful! Thanks, interesting point and will consider as well.
  6. There is nothing like an audio addict! LOL I replaced my Belle for center ( Thanks bhendrix and a second that motion, from Marvel) with a LaScala at 3am in the morning!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOW. I'm loving this ride!!!. Now to add the K-402/K69 on top...... Next.....OMG JUUUUUUUBILATION in the form of Jubilees.....take a bit of time to get here due to the slowness of shipping couriers...HAHAHA J/K is it Monday yet? LOL
  7. OMG!!!! THOSE ARE A WORK OF ART AND I WANT TO HEAR THEM AND OWN THEM!!!!! LOL WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! They are beautiful and that room is as well. WOW that picture is worth a thou$and words. Now, where can I get a pair? (or two, my friend is nuts as well, LOL)
  8. Well I listened to the RC-64II. Compared to my Belle center channel..Night and Day. I'm sure that all the Reference top of the line together would be great but doesn't even come close to the punch I get from the Belle and the rest of my Heritage system. I wonder if its even worth listening to a Klipsch THX?? I doubt I would be happy with any other system with the exception of maybe Jubilees and maybe some mods, which I haven't heard but should be in the same line as what I have but a notch up...maybe? LOL
  9. I ordered a RF-64II center channel speaker and I will test it out tonight. I think that I am going to keep the set-up I have for now......LOL but now I'm thinking about Jubilees, then a mod for center that was mentioned, LORD LORD you all got me thinking different ways to set up, but I have 2 spare LaScalas as well was thinking with the specs would it be better for center with my set up or keep the Belle .....and would be interested to know more about mod for center with LaScalas and if anyone hears of an available Jubilee pair I would be interested. The next step would be???? LOL Who knows..Btw the center is behind a micro perf screen so not sure if that makes any difference or not. BTW I have the Bob Crites AA crossovers in the Klipschorns and the AL-5 crossovers in the Belle if upgrading or changing back to stock crossovers on the Klipschorns would help as well would be interested to know. Thanks to all that have commented.
  10. I have two of the Velodyne, sorry. If I could find a pair of Jubilees beleive me I would try them and probably keep them forever! LOL Room has treatments as well. Thanks for your opinion.
  11. Ok here is my situation., I have a Heritage / Reference combination system. I have spent a long time to set up my home theater and customize my Klipsch speakers into the room. I would like to know if I should change my system to a complete RF-II, THX Klipsch system or just keep my set-up the way I have it. I love the system I have and it sounds incrediable but I alway wanted to hear a complete set-up of the Klipsch Reference II and THX systems but I have not found any dealers in the Orlando, FL. area with both set-ups to demo. Has anyone that loves and owns the Heritage system set-up, that comes to close to what I have, heard any of the above named systems that can say that the improvement or lack of, a Reference and or THX systems that Klipsch has, would make a difference for me to go to a full system change over? I think I have an audio sickness because I'm always wondering if I have found audio utopia. Please help if you are or have been a Heritage owner and have heard, not just read about, the difference in the above sound. I know the specs of all the speakers but its the actual hearing of the systems (I know everyone ears are different) that I have not been able to do.Should I get over it and realize I have found audio Utopia with what I have or should I take the plunge for a different system? I may be just bored because I want to change something even though I may not need to...Its an AUDIO thing, LOL BTW size of speakers and placement is no object here. (I mostly listen to music and dvd concerts but watch movies as well but music is the main listening preference) Thanks for any help or advice. My sytem: Klipschorns for front right and left Belle for center channel speaker 2 Reference RS-25 for front Heigth and Front wide 6 KPT 8001 for two R and L sides and R and L rear Velodyne ULD 15 Subwoofer Denon AVR-4311
  12. I was looking thru the forums and came across your set up. I have Klipschorns for right and front and was wondering what this set-up was. I have a micrperf screen and need something that matches for center. I have pro Klipsch for sides and rears that came out of a movie house. Your opinion and help would be most appreciated.
  13. Does anyone have any information about the type 1 crossovers in older versions of the klipschorns? I have a Model K-D-FR BLACK with SERIAL NUMBERS 1 B 906 AND 973. I replaced these with Bob Crites AA but the older ones sounded better..Or do I need to remove some ear wax? LOL pict: http://www.msnusers.com/klipschorns/shoebox.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=2
