I recently purchased a JD-100B and I love it. I like the products and company enough to carry their product line. I've used mine on my home system with RB-81s and in our showroom with RF-63s. It has been my first tube amp and I have nothing but good things to say.

[Bi-amping RF-82]

I tried bi-amping my RB-81s and I didn't like the resulting sound. The highs were unnaturally strong and the cross-over didn't sound as smooth when going from highs to lows. Maybe if my room wasn't so problematic I would have liked the result more.

BTW, this was with a Marantz 7001

[RC 62....Weak woofer]

I have a RC62 and I love it. The two woofers do have different crossover points and aren't always in sync. As far as I understand, this is as designed and a good thing to help smooth the transition from highs to lows.

[Question about speaker stands for RB61s. Are they safe?]

I put my RB-81s on these stands. They are heavy enough to keep them stable (using the supplied carpet spikes).

[Bookshelf buying advice]

I just ordered a set of RB-81s and a RC-62. I work at a Klipsch dealer and so I've had the chance to install and listen to various combinations. I plan on driving them with a Marantz receiver. I'll post a review when I get it all setup.
