We recently moved across the country, and thankfully the vast majority of our electronic gear arrived without incident. I am, however, a little vexed by two minor repairs that I need to make:
Our set of Quintet III speakers came through without any damage, but one of the two drivers in the center channel seems to have come detached from the front housing (it's loose inside the enclosure now). I need to figure out how to open it up, and would like to open the satellites up as well because some styrofoam packing peanuts managed to get inside them (oops).
Something also seems to have come slightly loose inside the amplifier for my ProMedia 2.1 computer speakers. The left side output has some intermittent static on it. For all I know, something got inside that enclosure too and knocked a wire loose, or it could be something more serious than soldering/cleaning...can't tell yet. However I'd really like some sort of repair manual before I go mucking around in there.
Does anybody know where I can find some documentation on how to properly disassemble speaker units from these two series? Thanks in advance!
