  1. Hi guys. I about to buy my first sub in life. I have a set of Klipsch [KG4, KG2.2, KG.5, KV3]. I can have a Velodyn DPS 10 (Digital Power Slot) by $235. This has the Digital Signal Processing. (Full report here http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_11_3/velodyne-dps-10-subwoofer-8-2004.html) Anyone know this? COmments?
  2. OK. We are ready now. It is a pair of KG4.OO Thanks everyone for the advise.
  3. Thanks guys. This is really helpful. I check the mark, it is white. The speakers say nothing on being oiled or lacquer.but since the mark is white, by Hendrix I know now they are not oiled. So, will do as this tell. Thanks again. I just finished my last exam (in life I hope) and have some free time to use. Will take photos and post for future references on the same question in the forum.
  4. Hey guys. I got a nice pair of KG4 from craigslist. Only 80 bucks. They sound like heaven and in excellent shape. They will replace my pair of KG2.5 as front. Yet, one of them has a large water mark on the top. Is like they used it as a table for a flowerpot (can you believe it!!!!??). These are light oak. All my speakers are black, so I have no idea how to clean this. Is this one for those where oiling is required? Should I use a varnish? Thanks for any advise.
  5. Ok, it is time for me to upgrade my main speakers. I have a KG configuration, 2.5 mains and center, and Kg .5 surr. These are connected on a HK AVR 235 (7.1). I have a 5.1 configuration but considering to get it to 7.1 so will keep these and add two other speakers. No sub here.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I have been considering between two options 1. KG3.5 towers and sub (maybe HSU VTF-2) 2. KG 4, no sub (I was told the bass on these are enough for a mid-size room) Advise? Budget below the 400s Thanks guys
