Hey Trey, no offense taken!! I thought the title was funny, being a Klipsch fan myself.
Someone mentioned the pro-line. Yeah, I know about all that, but I gotta be real too. And sleeping in the garage with my speakers doesn't appeal to me...
I would be remiss if I didn't "mention" licensing on your 750 person showing. Just don't want to see anyone get into legal trouble. Once you reach beyond family and friends (acquaintances) or charge admission, you're into a licensing area. Your mileage may vary... swank.com or my site for info. Nuff said.
Thanks for the invitation! I'm going to consider that. I'm about 5 hours from you, drive-time and have a user in Indy I'd like to meet. He's featured in one of the TV clips on my site. You two should get together too. He runs five Crown amps in his backyard theater rack! (And JBL EON's, sorry.) He goes by Danoplex II in our forums. Great guy! Big audio.
Yes, many of our users go pretty light on audio. Some are just getting started, many are limited by close neighbors. Many are just primarily interested in big video but will eventually upgrade their audio. But me and a few others dig the audio side of things. That's where I got started and it would be hard to go backwards! I'd LOVE to have a killer Klipsch system out there. After running K-horns indoors for a lot of years, I can only imagine how it could sound.
ps: I had you guys based in Arkansas for some reason? Is my brain going? Are you based in Indy?
Thanks for the note. By all means, jump on our site and tell everyone what you're up to. Post some pics and we'll get you featured.
An aside, I can remember the first time I saw a Klipsch product in a big box store, it was kind of... depressing... I remember when you only had about 4-5 speaker designs to choose from and seeing the leap to mainstreet was a little strange for me. Did others here experience that? But congrats on the growth! I've been out of touch for a while but it looks like things are going very well on the business side for Klipsch.
Regards,
Randy
