I currently am looking for outboard amplification for my reference system...RF-63, RC-64 and RS-62's. I have narrowed my choices to a Rotel-1095 or a B&K Reference 200.5/200.7. Please help me with any opinions or suggestions...

Taylor, Do you feel the Yamaha 2700 has what it takes to really drive the RC-64. I have been debating on what receiver to purchase to power a set of RF-63 and RC-64. I just wanted some feedback from someone that was actually running the RC-64 off the 2700.

I have auditioned the Marantz line of receivers (SR9600) with the RF63 and the RC64. I was planning on the Yamaha 2700 for this combo. Is the Yamaha a true 140wpc like the Marantz. Which would you choose.

Just wondering what speaker cable everyone was using for their h/t. I am quite interested in the bettercables line of speaker cables so if anyone is using them please respond with an opinion.

Using a Yammy 2700 av receiver is there gonna be a difference as far as loud listening levels to movies or sound quality goes? What combo would better suit my needs for the action packed explosive level of of home theater that I desire. I just want some opinions before finally decideing what to purchase for my front LCR. I want to be able to hear every word of dialouge even at quiet levels and not needing to say "what did he/she just say and have to rewind.

Loud & Clear, You don't think that the RF-63's will be underpowered by the 2700 along with the RC-64?

On the video side of things I have looked at several LCD and Plasma TV's from Sony, Samsung, Pioneer, etc. I visited Goosebumps in McMurray, Pa and looked at a Runco 50" 720p Plasma which was awesome. I am more in the market for something 1080p. I have my eyes set on a Nuvision 42in or47in 1080p LCD. If anyone has dealt with Goosebumps, Randy Evans, was fantastic. He took a couple hours of his time to really sit down with me during the audiotioning period. If anyone has or have had a Nuvision LCD, feel free to give me your opinion.

I am planning on purchasing a SVS PB12-Plus/2 for my low end and crossing it over at 80htz and setting everything to small on the receiver.

I was wondering if the RF-63 and RC-64 would be a good match to a Yamaha RV-X2700. I am concerned about power issues and a seperate amp is not possible right now. Will I get reference level with this receiver and front combo.

I am currently stuck deciding between using the RC-64 or the RC-62 as a new center channel for my h/t. I love the slamming loud dialogue associated with a good cc. I plan on using RF-62's as mains, connected to a Yamaha RV-X 2700. Please help me decide if the RC-64 with the RF-62 mains would be a good tonal match with the Yamaha.
