  1. I changed it to $200 before you posted. And it is a guaranteed like new amp once you get it fixed from Klipsch for $125
  2. OK, so they sent me an e-mail right away: What suxs is that my amp is the problem, and that the $125 + one way shipping for 4-6 week turnaround on something I used only for about 6 months is REAL CRAPPY... I'll be selling this system so let me know if anyone is interested before or after repair. Before repair is preferred. Say... $200 + shipping?
  3. Ok, I just sent an e-mail to the Computer support at: "promedia@klipsch.com" <promedia@klipsch.com> I hope they can help me get them working again real soon.
  4. my problem doesn't seem to be the same as the one you had with your system..
  5. OK... here are the sounds: On, a few seconds, Off (it may sound like it but there is no clipping on this one) Same but much more crackling (sorry about all the clipping) FYI, the rear pannel was not screwed on, but I certainly don't believe that any of the noise was from it moving. I had the box placed verticaly so as to have the weight of the amp pulling it down shut. Both had the microphone placed on the mouth of the breathing hole.
  6. Here is the pictures: Three Quarters Board Side Top
  7. All of a sudden they went out with a funny noise. Now I can turn them on and off, the numbers on the volume move but I only get a whistle out of them which doesn't get louder or lower with volume settings... the high pitch whistle also seems to pulsate and if I wait several seconds there is a different pulse that seems to involve the woofers... al of this is very low, no loud sounds comming out at all... certainly no actual sound. I took a look inside and coudn't see anything bune or out of the ordinary... can you guys help, pease? Do you want pictures? Want me to record and post the noise? Let me know what I can do to fix this baby. Thank you.
  8. I was hoping this wasn't going to happen. I called a Klipsch rep before pulling the trigger and he assured me it was not common, but sure enough after a few months of owning them they went. The previous owner told me he barely used them, well who know but they seem to be in mint condition, packaged them with utmost care... ...anyway, all of a sudden while watching a movie they made a weird sound and went. The sound was like a power down of sorts... it sounded like a sound effect for some sort of Sci-Fi gadget. Then nothing... I can turn them on, funny enough is that the same noise happens each time. The speakers and woofers seem to be in perfect condition... nothing on the boards looks burnt or otherwise damaged...everything looks stock. So I am guessing some sort of electronics died... a board of some sort... that's my HUMBLE guess... SO: What are the common problems? What should I check/look for? Would you guys want me to upload the noise for you to hear for diagnostics? Should I upload pictures? BTW... hope this is the right section!
