  1. I'll repeat what Trey explained to me, hoping he'll jump in and correct me if I make a mistake. The current production stock of 'KB 1.1 's' are manufactured in China under authority of Klipsch, and are only sold to Ubid for resale. I have no idea how 6th avenue got them unless they bought them from Ubid. They are slightly different than the original 'KSB 1.1 's' in that they use a different driver for the horn and a slightly different crossover network (probably because of the new driver ?). I recently bought some of these from Ubid because I got them for an extremely good price, but I can't tell you how they sound because I haven't even opened them, I am fighting with Ubid right now to get them to take these back. I feel it is false advertising because every single auction on Ubid states these are KSB's and not KB's . Consequently the half-million of these for auction on Ebay are most likely KB's because ubid is where they all get their stock. More false advertising. I have KSB 3.1 's and 2.1 's in my second HT setup and really like the sound for the size, but I am not even interested in keeping the KB's. Hope the info helps!
  2. Here's another humorous one: Rare Klipsch You are correct in calling these rare, they are so rare you will never, ever see a pair. Even the pair you are selling aren't really there. (im a poet and dont knowit)
  3. I finally got a reply from him: yes I am selling KLF-20's. I was just to lazy to re-type the description. They are exactly the same, just a year apart model wise. ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Friday, April 26, 2002 7:07 AM Subject: Question for seller -- Item #1348889432 > Why did you take the description for a Klipsch RF-7 off their website and insert KLF-20 for RF-7 everywhere? > > Is it your intent to defraud? > > Are you actually selling KLF-20's? > > -------------------- This message has been edited by Mr Mac on 04-26-2002 at 11:19 PM
  4. Has Klipsch reissued the KLF series, and upgraded components? I have KLF-20's and have seen a few others, and they don't have specs like this: - two 10" Cerametallic woofer cones ? - custom manufactured Z-Series Monster Cable® ? This moron on ebay took the blurb for an RF-7 and put KLF-20 in everywhere. Why? idiot
  5. Should we have a For Sale/For Trade Forum? I have a brand new KLF-C7 in black that I just bought to use as a rear center channel. I have since decided I'd rather have 2 rear surrounds than one center. I'm looking to trade my center for a pair of KSP-S6's or RS-7's. Of course I will need to sweeten the deal with cash or other items to balance the trade. Email or answer here. Thanks all!
  6. There are currently 10 more available, they either found a hidden stash or these are customer returns. Ubid is an authorized Klipsch seller, but what I can't understand is why Klipsch lets Ubid advertise these as NEW ! There are not, and when I got mine from them over a year ago it was obviously used and was one of the ones scheduled to go back to the factory for 'refurbishment', but never made it there. I have the infamous gasket leak.
