  1. Did you switch channels to make sure it is not a problem in your amp or receiver? Also if it is a speaker problem I would look on Parts express for a match or call Eminence speaker Co. and talk to a tech and they could give you a model that would match the 10 " woofer.
  2. I have been to La Superica and have lived in S.B. for 27 years .
  3. Thank you again for the info I just finished them not as easy as my Heresy 1's but I now will do my 3 pairs of KG4's next.

  6. I have a pair of Heresy 11's with the square crossover and having a problem getting crossover board off the two terminal posts to replace the other caps I was able to get the 68 in and one 1.5 but getting others in without removing the board seems very difficult ??

  11. To change a type E crossover to type B is just a matter of changing the Caps or is there other changes?
  12. I quess that is one for the X-files.
  13. I disconnected them and they read 7.1 and 7 ,the only reason I mentioned the other drivers is to establish my ohm meter was reading correct, so the drivers reading 7 came out of a pair of cornwalls as I said earlier the one is much louder and sounds fine and the other sounds fine but half the volume of sound is coming out?
  14. They are M's I got these from a member for my Birchwood Heresy rebiulds they came out of his La scalas but these are not the ones in question.
  15. I got these from a member and they came out of a pair of Cornwalls and he put altecs in .They say in red ink on the back Klipsch K-55V NOV 23 1977. My other K-55's are not the grey driver but black on the back .
  16. One of my K-55's is about half as loud as the other they both are reading around 7 on the ohm meter my other K-55's are reading around 11-12 in my other pair of Heresy 1's do I need new diaphrams in the drivers reading 7 ?

  19. Do you have these caps to sell? I have everything else ties and the plastic holders?
  20. Not going to switch tweeters in the Heresy11's I might put some titanium diaphrams in if you think there would be a sound change however I do have your CT-125 tweeters in my Heresy 1's and it was a nice upgrade. How many caps and what type are needed in these crossovers, I replaced the 2 in my Heresy 1's and the sound diff. was impressive. Thanks
  21. These are mid 80's Heresy 11's so do the caps need to be replaced?
  22. Anyone know what caps are in the crossovers in the Heresy 11's?
  23. I agree there is but there is corruption everywhere around that amount of money but the good is far better than the bad with Ebay. I sold a pair of K-55 drivers with the K-700 horns to a member "rigma" and a horn got chipped for whatever reason however I refunded him %100. of his money including shipping charges if anyone has a question in there mind about this I will email you or fax you the Pay Pal refund receipt.
  24. Sure wish I gambled on some Ebay stock in the beginnig.
