Congrats on the new purchase! I have the same front three in one of my systems and enjoy listening to them whether in two channel or surround.

I never had the pleasure, but I know Maccagirl83... She suggested I join the site!

Michael,
My father would have been touched to read your write up. I know I was. I enjoyed creating such a thoughtful and meaningful playlist in honor of my Dad. These are the songs that I will always remember my Dad playing- it is so funny how sometimes it's the little things that remind you and shape your memories forever.
My Dad was a unique and genuinely awesome person. I look forward to carrying on his legacy here in the Forum, and by reading and writing about things that will remind me of him. It will certainly help to keep his memory alive. Please message me anytime. I would love to chat with you.
Thanks so much for attending, it meant a lot to me.

I'm very saddened to hear of the awful news. He was a great guy. My condolences to you and your family. Boxx will be missed.

A little less than a meter above ear level and slightly angled would probably be optimum.

I haven't heard the RF-35's but I have heard the other speakers you are inquiring about. They all sound fantastic including the RC-35. You should be able to pick up the 35's a bit cheaper than the 82's & 62.
If you have the room after you upgrade, you may want to move the 52's to surround duty. Good luck with finding your new front stage!.

Thanks, I picked up the stand a few years ago at American TV.

Here's my humble setup. Please excuse the poor quality pics as I'm using an old camera.

All 20GB, 60GB and two different 80GB (Motorstorm Pack Edition and Metal Gear Solid 4 Pack Edition) PS3's play SACD's.The SACD supported model numbers are CECHB01 (20GB), CECHA01 (60GB), CECHE01 (80GB). One way to determine if your PS3 will play SACD's, if you don't want to turn your unit around to read the model number, is to see if your unit has 4 USB connections on the front. If so, then yes your PS3 will play SACD's. You have to have your PS3 connected to your AVR with an HDMI cable in order to listen to SACD's in 5.1. If you have your PS3 and AVR connected with an optical cable then 2.0 is all that you'll be able to output to your AVR.

I bought the 62's a couple of weeks ago and LOVE them! I demo'd the 42's
and 52's at a retail store and IMO there is a HUGE difference in sound
between the 42's and the 52'. After checking the net for prices I was able to buy the 62's for a small difference vs the 52's . I
think that you would be happy with either the 52's or the 62's. Good
luck and enjoy whichever you decide to purchase.
