how do i do that?

first off---its my fault for stepping outside the family....i went with the boston acustics hps 12ho on sale for $210.00 at onecall last week.... i have it hooked up to my denon 1508 via subout rca jack to the lfe plug in the sub..... problem is this sub has very little power and bass.... all the reviews i read said this sub kicked butt and shook the walls, but its really crappy thus far compared to the klipsch sub12 i used to own..... im hoping im not hooking it up properly, but it only has the rca's and no speaker plugs for it, and i think i got my denon hooked up properly, but idk, its really a complicated reciever..... any help is greatly appreciated!!!

how can i tell if my center speaker matches the timbre of my fronts? i have icon v35, but im not in luv with the matching center and i wanted the c3 from synergy series since its on sale and has much higher db...

thanks for the advice guys, according to my ears they hit as badass as any other speakers i ever heard.... i cant believe speakers could get any louder and keep the same ultra-clarity these have....with my denon 1508 i blasted these as close to deafening as possible and they still sounded super clear and produced great sounds....i think these are pretty badass speakers and for 299 each (on sale from 399) i got a great deal and highly recommend them to anyone.... its the other speakers in the series im having doubts about such as the center...

i dont hear anything about the icon series...since im new to the klipsch realm, i went with the new series which i got a 100 discount on each of my fronts...but my complaint is im not hearing much opinions about the icon series....im starting to panic a little, im thinking about returning my icons and waiting for the reference speakers to go on sale....hopefully someone with the know-how can tell me if they are worth holding onto or not... any other ICON series peeps out there???

at bestbuy they have the icon center for 279, but its only 93db.... would i be better off and would sound quality increase if i went with either: reference rc-10 or synergy c-3? both the rc10 and c3 have much higher db....i believe the rc10 has 96db and the c3 has 97db.... the c3 is also on sale now for 179...... should i grab one of these two, or buy the matching icon center for 279? thanks for any input!!!

or get another klipsch sub that will pyzz on his sub12

im new to klipsch speakers, but my icon v35's kick the s*&t out of every speaker system i ever heard at anyones house!!! they do kick asp, but without a sub yet, it has me thinking upgrade while i can....but i think once i get the sub12 or two sub12's , i will be in luv!!! my buddy has one sub12, so i may need two to put him to shame!!!

wow, retract my last statement about the icon subs...the 500 is massively impressive....gets to a low 21hz....sub12 is 24hz i think....but its also a 1000....its a little out of my budget as im just a lowly 'baller on a budget' lol

yeah i really like the icons v35, they are my first klipsch towers, but i hear everyone ranting and raving about the reference series and they have them at the same price as my icons....i wish i knew about vanns before i got my stuff.... i was gonna match my icons with the synergy sub12 tho.... i luv the sub12 i used to own it, but its gone now.....does the icon series match up to it?

i currently am working on the new icon series, and i got the vf-35 towers which sound great, but have no bass at all....the center channel icon doesnt look to have very good specs, nor do the other speakers in the icon series.... vanns has a sale with the rf-35 towers (duel 8's) for only 299 each which is exactly what i paid for my icons at bestbuy on blackfriday.... should i take back my icon towers (triple 5.25's) for the discontinued rf-35's???? another point to make is the discontiued reference 35's all have much higher db than the icon series.... anyone know how long bestbuy will take to refund my money back to my credit card/debit card if i return them today? thanks!!

i just found out mirage is owned by klipsch, but which subs are better? with klipsch, im looking at getting a sub12 (ive owned it before) but mirage has the prestige s10 (10in 300watt) sub on sale from 799 to 399.... any ideas which is better?

the badest sub i have ever owned or heard at a house is the sub12...the sub10 was, but then my friend got a sub12 and its nails.... is there anything better than the sub12 that is cheaper?

i had bought a sub10 last year, then next day my friend bought a sub12, and it killed my joy and i took back my sub10....never had the cash to buy the sub12 until now.....but is it still the best sub under 400? bestbuy had a deal last week for the sub12 being 225 and the sub12 at 499....would two sub10's hit better than one sub12? what could i get that would blow my friends sub12 out of the water thats around the same price range 300-450 range?

i have dish network too, but i have the 722 box with hdmi output.... also, make sure he has the hd package offered from dish too, i do and i love them!!! hope that was helpful!!!

can a denon 1508 bi-amp???

also, this may sound weird, but what does bi-amped mean? how do u bi-amp front speakers?

i just recently purchased my first klipsch tower speakers....icon vf-35's.....they have triple 5.25's and the horn, and they really rock the house!!! they sound great i have no complaints when playing them as loud as my denon 1508 will play them before i get scared about blowing them out and turn it down a notch.... but----- i just found a website with the synergy f-3's on sale for only 50 bucks more than what i paid for my v35's.....the f-3's have duel 8's and the horn as you all know....and will provide much more bass im sure than my v35's which provide very very little (i dont have a sub yet)... i was wondering if i should swap my v35's for the f-3's and pay the 100 difference....which set will sound better when paired with the sub12? also, which series is better: icon vs synergy? most of all, thanks for your help!!!
