  1. Hi, i am just wondering when sony says my receiver puts out 110 watts per channel how is that divided into seven channels, if i am using 5.1 channels is that still the same 110 watts per channel as using 7.1 channel. just wondering thanks.
  2. Should the size woofers in the quintet 3 speakers i have keep me from having fun and turning my stereo loud. I mean i have had way bigger speakers in the past with bigger woofers and the quintets put out just as loud of sound as my past ones, its just im scared of pushin my little quintets too hard. lol i might just be crazy but im a crazy person thats worried about his klipsch speakers. Are quintet 3s known to have easy to blow out tweeters or woofers. please just let me know thanks oh and im putting out 110 watts per channel to my quintets.
  3. Hi, i am just asking myself whether i should return the klipsch quintet 3 speaker system i just bought, and get a polk csi5 center channel to go with my already purchased and non returnable 2 pairs of polk r-150,s. Is polk even comparible to klipsch in sound, or reliability. How about quality of the speaker itself not to blow out. Im just wondering because i want a system that will not easily be blown out and because of the size woofers in my quintets, it makes me question its limit. Thanks
  4. Hi, i was just wondering whether using polk r150,s as surrounds for the quintet 3 system i have would be better than using the ones it came with. Thanks
  5. Hi, i am new to klipsch as i have recently been using klh speakers, yes klh. I have just purchased a klipsch quintet 3 system and a str-dg600 sony receiver pushin 110 watts per channel. My question is, can anyone tell me how loud i can turn the system up without damaging anything. I am being very cautious because im only 15 and dont have the money to spend fixing blown tweeters, not to mention i have to buy a klipsch ksw-12 synergy sub still. So if someone could please help me be assured of how loud i can turn the volume without damage occuring. Oh, yes and what got me to post this, was when i was watching star wars today when Darth Vader spoke i heard an almost weird bass coming from the center speaker, it was like a wavy bass. Everything else sounds great But Please Help!!!!!
