  1. I was thinking that was going to be the case , hmmmm. I will have to come up with a plan b, thanks for the help
  2. Hello, I have quite a bit of room on my wall for my fronts, but when I hang my plasma above my fireplace there really is not going to be a lot of room for a center. So I was wondering if you could use say a set of rf35's for the center channel? I know this is not commonplace so thats why I am asking if anyone else has done it and if it would mess up the sound imaging? Thanks
  3. Hello, I was wanting to ask a question for the masses. I have located a Sunfire Grand Cinema Signature 7 for sale and was wondering a few things about it. What is considered a good price for one of these units? It will be powering a RF35 setup and I know it is way beyond the rms and peak for these but I am considering upgrading in the near future and wanted an amp that would last. The only drawback is that I have never heard a Sunfire amp in person, so that leaves me with a doubt about the sound. I have tried to locate a dealer locally to listen, but with no luck. Any help would be appreciated due to I think 1100.00 shipped for the amp is a good deal. Thanks for your help
  4. Yeah, thats more what I was getting at when I posted. I was hoping for a cleaner sound due to the excess power at hand, and my Denon not having to go 75 to 90% to feed that. Thanks again for everybodys input, you have really helped me out.
  5. One last question for the masses. Since I have the RF series and it shows 125watts max RMS, will it be safe to push 200 to them? I know Klipsch's can handle alot of power, just making sure. Thanks again
  6. Hey Pyro, I am considering your Rotel and looking into a 1080 also. I am kicking around the idea of these 2 now with a seperate amp rack or the sunfire. Ill let you know soon as to which way I am going. Thanks
  7. Man, that would be a good deal Pyro. Im trying to run 7.1 though, does Rotel make a 2 channel 200 watt for the rear surrounds? If so that might work for me, I know that Rotel makes damn fine amplifiers.
  8. Thank you, that was very informative and helpful. You made some very good points about every amp having something from china. I would have to say that the sunfire is looking like the one I will get after all the comments and all of the discussions I have been reading. Thank you very much for taking time to help me with this decision,
  9. Yeah, I have been looking at the 200.7 also, It looks like a very solid amp. When did Sunfire stop making amps in the United States? I wished we had someone where I lived that had high end gear so I could listen and evaluate. I really appreciate all the help and opinions
  10. Yeah, I have tempered glass shelves. The middle one where it would sit is rated at 100 pounds, but I dont know if I want to test that . To be honest that is what stood out with the Sunfire is the low weight and there downconverter technology. Hmmmm, I was looking at the B&K also but it also weighs in at about 80 pounds. I just love decisions
  11. I am in the market for an amp and I have narrowed it to 2 brands. I like the Outlaw 7700 and the Sunfire TGA 7200, the only big factor right now is the shear weight of the Outlaw, Man, that thing is a chunk of lead . I have read the reviews on both and read posts here, avs forums and audioholics. Could some owners chime in on what they think. Thanks
  12. How do you think the RC64 would work out? I like the looks of it and the performance specs. Im just not sure how it would react to my RF35's?
  13. I was wondering if anyone has the 7700? Impressions, likes, dislikes? I have been reading as many reviews as I can find and there really are not many dislikes that I can find. Also, I have the entire RF35 theater setup and was wondering when I add the 7700 should I upgrade my center? If so what would the masses recommend on upgrade? Thanks for the input [Y]

    RF-35's

You know the more I sit and think about it, the 4 fronts arent that good of an idea from many points of view. I think instead I am going to run an Outlaw 7700 and just push more power to all 7 channels. I am really happy with the 3808ci so far, the GUI menu, amp assigning and so many various other things I have yet to get into .
  15. I would go for the denon also. I have owned 6 Denon receivers and all have sounded and performed excellent.
