This weekend, more precisely about 46 hours from now, I will fulfill a dream and purchase a pair of Cornwalls thanks to some great members of the Klipsch community. My next purchase will be a vacuum tube amp and as I research them online I am finding the price chasm between what is out there is extreme to say the least, starting with the model I am attaching a link to on one end, to thousands of dollars on the other. From someone, short on technical knowledge but LONG on how much he cares about quality sound, to the acoustic experts out there. Question: How would the sound from a digital audio signal be affected by whether it processed sent through a tube amp or a solid state amp? i.e. "a warmer, less electronic sound," as I've heard it described by tube-amp enthusiasts. Challenge: Answer this in a way that someone with less-than-elementary knowledge of even basic acoustics can understand.
