I'm guessing that everyone will be up late Saturday night, so we might be sleeping in a bit on Sunday. We'll probably get together for brunch somewhere and discuss the previous night. After that, we'll probably begin to disband for the drive/flight home.

Who's bringing gear? Let's get a list going.

Hope, AR.

Well... so far I haven't come up with anything. Still looking.
Tony

I just know I have that somewhere... I'll look.

I seem to recall PWK saying that the center speaker should be somewhere around 3db down. That sure doesn't sound like much.

The Merlin & the Mark III's... this is not going to be good for my wallet. My fear is that after hearing this setup, I probably won't be able to live without one.

Dee,
Glad to see that they arrived. They look sweet.

I'm headed to Hope early on Friday to help tie up loose ends so I'm probably already going to be there when everyone starts to arrive. Surely, we can get some kind of car pooling arranged.

Now, if we could just get Amy to show up...

I need all the "hopefuls" in the attendee list to let me know as soon as possible if you can attend or not. We are planning some things that require an accurate "head count".

For the rest of us, we will probably be staying at the Holiday Inn right off the Interstate in Hope. Also, dinner will be at our listening / party / restaurant location. ($10.00 - $15.00 each) And don't forget to bring your favorite CD's.

OK, attendees... the dates are "set in stone". Sept. 17th & 18th. Trey or I will soon have some info on accommodations. There will be plenty to do. So who's bringing equipment?

I remember when I did my first "serious" listening on Heritage. I was listening to a clarinet solo, and I kept hearing this really annoying "clicking" sound. It was really driving me crazy. I finally discovered it was the mechanical part of the clarinet that was the culprit. I had never heard it on previous speakers. For good or bad, Heritage is very revealing!

Any opinions on how the Teac Tripath compares to the Crown D-60 or D-75. I currently have the Teac, but have entertained the idea of purchasing a Crown. I've heard good things about the D-60, but those are not as available as the D-75. All opinions welcome.

I've looked into his music "closet" (where he kept his equipment and recordings) many times and didn't see very many artists I was familar with.

He really liked marching band music. Also, classical and large symphony.

Hope becomes very crowded during the Watermelon Festival. That might be the wrong time to be there.

I will be editing this list as necessary. Please keep me up to date on who's attending.
September 17th and 18th.

Greg,
Did you mean one woofer or one woofer cabinet. I'd be interested in the cabinet.
Thanks,

We're looking at the weekend of the 17th and 18th of Sept. This is not set in stone... still waiting to hear from someone.

Hey Dean,
Are you going to bring your modded K-Horns to the Heritage gathering?
Tony
-
It'll be a couple of days before I can swing the pics... my internet (at home) is on the fritz.

Probably just one really big room. At the restaurant.
