For some reason, I want to say the J stands for Jensen.

No, PWK never posted here. He really wasn't a big "computer guy".

Rob,
Congratulations! Smart move... You will never regret this decision.

I've listened to both, I just can't get as excited about the Reference series as I can about Heritage.

I don't know who drew these plans! I've seen them all before, but I don't know where they came from. Once upon a time... I "reversed" engineered a set of LaScalas myself and drew up the plans (correctly) for them, but these are not my drawings!

Phil,
I didn't say there wasn't a price to pay. All in all, she has been pretty tolerant of my audio habit. The great thing about Klipsch is that they are all beautiful pieces of furniture, except maybe for the pro line stuff. (which apparently now I can't live without)

John,
The sad thing is that since that poll, I've aquired more and sold none. Trey seems to think that I have something wrong with me. But I've got news for him... he's just as "sick" as me!

Also, I should add:
I'm not "building" the cabinets, I already have them. I've been collecting this stuff for a while now. It's just a matter of putting the drivers in them, stacking them up and building the crossovers... project done!

HDBR,
I have the K-260 horns and the manifolds. (I actually have 4 of those.) In fact, I have everything except the 10" mid bass drivers for the sub-squawkers. They're no longer available from Klipsch, but engineer Jim knows of a suitable replacement that is readily available. Once I get those, all I have left to do is build the crossovers. I'm still looking for original literature on this setup.

My latest project is the MCM1900. I have most of the cabinets and components for a 2 channel 4 way configuration. I'll have to build the crossovers, they're no longer available from Klipsch. I'm looking for any and all info on this speaker setup. I know this is a professional rig, but I thought I'd ask for advise here.
Thanks,
Tony

"The natural evolution will be converting many of our best Synergy customers to the ultimate in high-performance loudspeakersthe Reference Series."
I've heard the Reference series... the ultimate in high performance loudspeakers is the Heritage series. Enough said!

HDBRbuilder,
Speaking of the Jubilee, did you get my recent email?

I might be interested in some K-77M's. Someone email me with the details. (treed@hangerslittlerock.com)

He used a McIntosh. It's still there. I can tell you the combination of the Klipschorns, the Belle, and the McIntosh is incredible. I've listened to more than a few pieces of music on his setup, and it always amazed me!

OK... does anyone have any plans for any "Scoop"?

Does anyone out there have drawings for a speaker enclosure called the "Scoop"? I've seen one on the Beyma site (in metric) that houses twin 18's, but I'm looking for plans that use twin 15's. Any info would help.
Thanks,

Does anyone have any experience with the following driver as a replacement for the K55M? Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks,

I agree with Doug... The Hope trip will never be duplicated.
On the other hand, I'm up for trip. Let's do this thing. My family has heard me talk about the first trip so much, I think they want to go next time around. If Klipsch will run with this thing, they could really turn it into an event that would be covered by the media. With enough advance planning you could expect to see a big crowd at this thing.

Anything new to report?

Not to mention, we got to meet "The Man" himself. That was the highlight for me.

K 400 horns needed.

I've used the 511B in a project, and really didn't care for it as much as the K401. Maybe I'm just used to hearing the K401 more. I don't know what it is, but I did an A/B test and never could get comfortable with the 511B. Maybe it's just personal taste.
