  1. Thanx, I'm trying this to see if this works...I'm in St. Petersburg if you ever get over this way, stop on by and give us a listen!
  2. Pioneer Elite VSX 92-THX Amp Panasonic DMP-BD30 BLU-RAY Disc Panasonic TH-50PZ85U 50" Plasma TV 1990 Klipschorns Blk Heresy II's Center Chorus II's Rears KSW-15 Sub I'll be dadgum if I can figure out how to have my system profile appear in my posts. I posted a query in the forum section but haven't had any replies. Basically, I just have the Klipsch addiction-see what might be a good deal and buy them if I need them or not-can't stand to see orphan Klipsch speakers-I do have 7.1 capability-and the room-my living room is 16 by 26-I also have a RC-3 I can use as a single surround back-according to my Pioneer manual you can use a single speaker and hook it only to the left rear surround output-

    5.5's

I have the opportunity to buy a pair of nice 5.5's for $250-just wondering how they would fit with my Heritage HT system as side surrounds. Any comments?
  4. What should I buy- a KLF C-7 for $200 or an Academy for $300 to go with my Khorns?
  5. The reason I want to use two centers is that I have these spiffy Heresy II's I just refinished and want to use them instead of buying a better center channel than my RC-3-I can't place them directly in front of my stereo cabinet because they would stick too far out into the room and block my amp and cable box. I wanted to place them on either side of my cabinet or in front of my Khorns.
  6. Why next to each other?-I wanted to split them on either side of my cabinet holding my TV---50"s apart
  7. OK, here's the deal-I'm picking up a Pioneer Elite VSX-92 TH amp today-I plan to use my Khorns as fronts,Chorus II's as rears, a KSW15 as my sub- how can I use both my heresy II's as centers with only one center output on the amp-can you split the output between them? I want to use both to put one each on the sides of my console under the TV- have a RC-3 center but it doesn't fit logistically-Thanx for any comments
  8. I have 1990 Khorns, RC3 Center, Heresy 2 rears, and a KSW 15 sub. I want to upgrade my old Yamaha amp to something better-budget is an issue as I need to upgrade my center and my TV. What can I get for a $500-$750 budget that would make me proud. Any comments on the Pioneer Elite line-I see several on Ebay in that range(VSX84 or VSX01) for example that have all the movie modes and are Ipod and Sirius ready. If anyone has any preferences or experience in that area, I'm all ears.
  9. I know you guys are tired of us greenhorns,but....I just scored a pair of black 1990 khorns for $1000 and my Yamaha V496 reciever is probably sending y'all into spasms-i need help! What can I power these puppies with that I won't have to take out a second mortgage to buy-can you suggest something in the $300-$500 range-I do have Infinity rear speakers, Klipsch KSW15 sub, and Klipsch RC3 center channel. I would like to keep the home theatre thing going if I can-but am open to suggestions. Thanx for any and all advice.
