Anyone have any experience with the Behringer INuke series of amplifiers?
I initially wrote them off, however recently I have seen some positive feed back on them.
I see they are class D, with switching ps, similar to the B&O IcePower circuits.

I heard Daves Khorns with the AP12-350 and the ES-5800, and was blown away... Great combo, I think it bested his Universals.

They look a bit lik E.T., but if you are happy with them, thats all that counts.

I was actually referring to Jorjens original post, but thanks for the reply anyway.Craig,
I can only try to put this into words that I hope everyone can understand. You must understand that I am comparing these to a set of Martinelli's with identical Beyma 2" Drivers, in a two way passive, on Jubilees, They are as close as to Live as you can get, in my honest opinion. Let's say the Martinelli's are a bit more 'Mellow" than the Eliptrac 400's, but that is it. For what it is worth, this is coming from a set of ears that have spent 40 plus years behind the scenes of Live productions. I have and would not hesitate again, to buy Dave's Eliptrac 400's for my personal use.....!

Dave, where are the new pics?

So what do you think, how are the Eliptracs? Are they staying put.
Looks sweet.

Looking good, keep up the nice work.

They look perfect. I also replaced my Volti horns with Eliptracs, much better imaging and hf extension. I did have to adjust the level a bit when I made the swap, although cant remember how much.

It's 4 10 inch woofers in a ported Cornwall sides cabinet.
I listened to these in Dave's garage this weekend, WOW...
Cant wait til they are finished.

What is the price on the resistive attenuators? These LPads will be standard on the Cornscala-Wall crossover, however will also be available individually from ALK.

I really like your combination box brace/driver support.
That is nice, is it part of Bob's kit?

ALK just got done testing the B&C DE-85TN driver, the results are excellent.
This is a true 2" driver to be used for 2way or 3way applications in KHorn, Lascala Belle, Cornscala, etc.
What did I tell you. The B&C drivers are killer.
Geddes runs all B&C for a reason.

Paul welcome to the forums, I thought you would never join.
BTW, the Skyline looks great, is that the one Dave did the engine compartment on?

So Dave when are you building the DBB?I ran the simulation on the DBB. As you can see from the graph the first order filter will work with either the single or DBB woofers, as long as the woofers are in parallel.

According to ALK, this will operate fine in a Heresy with no changes.
Nice.

I'd love to see a Heresy version too! Should only require a few value changes.
I would like to know as well, I have Heresy's for surrounds, and at this price I wouldn't mind upgrading.

I was looking at Dave's site, and saw ALK is building a budget Universal crossover for the Cornnscala/Cornwall.
I am definately in. Here is the page. http://mysite.verizon.net/res12il11/id126.html

I love my Fastracs huge improvement over the original K-400 horn. Build quality is excellent.

$40 QSC sounds better though....
The QSC is an amazing horn for 2-way use. These are popular for use in the Econowave projects.

I think it sounds better that K-400 and fastrac (tractrix) in klipsch speakers...
I doubt the $20 plastic horn sounds better than a Fastrac, but to each his own. Where did you hear a Fastrac in Iran?

Nice, I have 3 HF81's, but none for that kind of price. Terrific score.

Thats the idea.Craig
Sorry for the ignorance. Are you saying they put a 12.5 ohm resistor in series with the tweeter and then use 1.0 mfd cap. If I understand this that would make the impedance 20.5 ohm wright? I should try that out. That looks like 1st order 5500Hz Solen Split. Thanks

I have had the oportunity to hear these speakers wlile they were in the deveopement process, they are absolutely amazing. This speaker has a huge soundstage, and incredible imaging.
During the audition we listened to "My Love Is" by Diana Krall, the bass is so realistic it feels like the player is in the room with you. "Take Five"by Dave Brubeck was so detailed it was like I had heard it for the first time.
I have heard alot of speakers in my day, this one definately makes it to the top of my list.
