What should I expect when I combine the RC-3 with my Sb3 and 1's. Will there be a stark difference between the claritiy of the high?

I have SB-3's as fronts and SB-1's for the rears and I have a chance to buy an RC-3 or RC-3II center channel. Do you think they will blend well together? Right now I'm using a JBL Northridge center and it's very flat (Tin canny). I know I would be mixing two differant families (Synergy and Reference) but I plan on over time upgrading to the reference series for all of my speakers. What do you think?

I just bought a used set of Promedia 2.1 speakers and they seem to work fine with one exception. I have to have the subwoofer set to the max volume to get a fair amount of bass oout of the sub. I know there is a mark at the 10 oclock position where Klipsch says it should be set but I get very little sound out at that position. Any thoughts?
