  1. Hello all, I just purchased the F3, C3, and sub-10...with the intention of buying the S3's as well. But I can not locate them anywhere? Can I substitute with the S2 or is there a beter recommendation? PS Mostly music and some movies...
  2. Thanks for the input... Another question (i'm a novice)...Will I use the same wire for my Sub-10 as I will for al other speakers?
  3. Will the S2's suffice or should I opt for the B3's (to match up with the F3's and C3)?
  4. Thanks to folks on this forum I have selected and started receiving some of my components...So far I purchased: F3's (which arrive next tuesday), a Sub-10, and C3, all driven by a Yamaha RX 363...(still searching for S3's...argh, might end up going with the B3's soon). In any rate, is there a recommendation for speaker wire which should be used (for each speaker type)?
  5. Not stuck on the "3" series...just fits my budget...However I have been considering the lower end Reference Series. Any thoughts with respect to looking at the lower end Reference speakers (front, center, side) vs the Synergy "3" series?
  6. Thanks Bill, Purchased the C3 last night and intend to go to a hhgregg store next week for the F3's (also have a new Sub-10). Next question...what gage/type of speaker wire should I use??? I am a true novice here...
  7. With a bit of research and thanks to everyones input I have decided to purchase the 3 series (F3 sides, C3 Center, S3 Rears). I found the F3's at hhgregg, and the C3 at Vanns. However, I am having problems locating an authorized dealer selling the S3 (rears). Everywhere I look the answer turns up as "discontinued". Is/was there an issue with these? Anyone know where I can find S3's (reasonably priced)? If necessary, can I mix the S2's in with the F3's and C3? Sorry if this is a re-post

  9. Maybe another dumb question...Am I better off staying with the same series (F3, C3, S3) or can I mix the F3 with the C2 and S2???
  10. Good point...will probably be a 75/25 split with Music/Video respectively.
  11. Thanks...I bought the sub-10 already...on sale at Best Buy for $240 (so I have now began to take the plunge). Any thoughts on my selection for sides, center and rears?
  12. Thanks Bill, I'm looking to spend around $1500 for my speakers...then another $200 for the Yamaha. I was told to pour more of my hard earned cash into the speakers not the amp...
  13. I am in the process of purchasing my 1st home system and have narrowed the brand to Klipsch. I am considering the KF3's, KS2's & the C3 center, with a sub-10. is this a good combo? Also can anyone tell me the difference between "Synergy" and "Reference" (unfortunately the salesperson at hhgregg never heard of Reference). I am a basic listener and probably don't have the "ear" to notice subtle differences in speakers... I am thinking about driving all this with a Yamaha RX-v363 ???? Looking for some expert opinion Thanks in advance
