  1. Anymore suggestions? I'm dying here looking everyday at this post.
  2. Thanks guys. I forgot to mention my receiver. Its a Pioneer Elite VSX-03 It does have pre-outs so an external amp could be added. Anymore suggestions?
  3. Hello guys, long time no see. I'm thinking of upgrading my AVR as many others. I have a very small room but a pretty good system. My speakers are as follows: Towers: RF-82 Center;RC-62 Sourrounds: 4X RS-52 SUB: RW-10d Subwoofer ( I know it is a small sub, but it fills my room very well, I even have to supress it to -12 on the sub and -5.5 in the AVR to make it match with the room). I'm debating between Pioneer Elite SC35 or 37, Denon 4311Ci, Onkyo TX-NR5008 and Marantz 7005. I try so hard to find reviews of them but cant as some of them arent out yet. I currently have THX decoding which I love using for THX blu-ray disc, but it is not a requirement. If you have a better suggestion I'm all open. Please help me here. Thanks a million. UPDATE: I forgot to let you guys know that my receiver is an Pioneer Elite VSX-03. UPDATE 2: Although a External amps seems great on the POWER side I still want just an AVR with the newer features. Now, I'm debating between Pioneer ELITE SC-37 and DENON 4311. Both VERY nice receiverwith both Power and the newer features. Pioneer is THX and Class D amp while Denon has newer features such as audessey DSX and audessey multieq XT 32 calibration which also calibrate the sub as well seprately. Please give me some good answers here. .
  4. THANK YOU INVENTOR!!!! I REALLY appreciate what you did. I will get a pair of RS-52 because I want to match everything and they are far above the head too and you never know if I will move soon. The responses that I got from everyone is exactly what I need. Thanks a million. I learned a lot and I will follow advice. If I now only can get my Pioneer Elite back home from repairs..its been 5 weeks now and I'm quite miserable about it. Thanks
  5. My sofa is even closer to the wall than yours and you think your RB sounds bad? I guess it will sound even worse for me. Anyway, I will still wait until I hear some info from you. BTW, I was talking to one Home Theatre professional, he builds those Rich people's home theatre all the time, he also said that because I'm closer to the wall and I'm mostly watching movies I should go for the RS-52. He also told me that the new THX recievers also reconfigure/ re calibrate the crossover in the Dipoles if they are in the rear, not in the speaker itself, but it will sense what type you have and then set it up the proper way by sending the proper signal to the rear dipoles. So I shouldnt have any problems. I have a THX Select 2 PLUS receiver.
  6. Its week 4 now. And still I havent got it back yet. My whole Holiday season was screwed up. No music, no movies, no karaoke and no Gaming. I'm REALLY crawling on the walls now. I called them up and they said that my receiver is all in different peices. They havent figured out what is wrong with it. Man,,,this is torture especially for a movie-guy like me.
  7. InVeNtOR, Any word yet. Have you tried it yet. Was there any difference,,,good or bad???
  8. You're not the first one that get that type of service from Klipsch. I've heard similar thing from others as well and that is why I decided to go with Klipsch instead of Polk Audio or any other brand. I'm VERY happy for you. That must have felt like a nice Band-aid after the ruff time with Divorce and all. Good work Klipsch on your service. I'm recommending Your brand and are a proud owner myself. 9. That is okay. It will give me more time to save up some money for whatever result it will be. please get me posted though because I;m very eager to know the result. I can get any type of speakers today if I want to. Again, thank you,,but please get me posted
  10. Inventor, Its Monday...Do you have some answers? I'm so eager to hear what you experienced with the RS-52? I will check this forum back again later today.
  11. InVeNtOR and T2K All of you guys are awsome! Well, I'm looking forward to your guys response. I'm soo close to buy a pair of either type of speakers. But I want to know what is best for my little room. 10ft deep 15ft wide 8ft high. I looked at this site about sourrounds as well. http://www.paradigm.com/en/paradigm/literature/surrounds.php Please let me know what your result is. I can hardly wait.
  12. So,....with the couch 1-2 ft from the rear wall,,,most of you would suggest the RS-52 instead of RB-61????? I'm about 3-4 weeks away to get Rear speakers.
  13. Having the rears in the same distance as the side surround is impossible for me as the sofa/couch is just 1 ft away from the wall. I cant put any bookshelfs in there as well to make room for the RB-61's. ONLY if I put them on the 35 inch stands. But to some it might not sound good at all. My setup is Primarely for movies I do NOT listen to music, would it be wrong to put the RS-52's instead? I'm using Bluray with DTS-hd and DolbyTrueHD and THX Select PLUS. I dont want to miss out on anything as well.
  14. I wish I could, but, no I do not have any shelfs in my room behind me or on the side. I do have 35inches tall stands that I might be able to use..but then they end up just behind me.
  15. So have noticed. But my problem is that my sofa is right up in the wall and I only have like 1 ft between the sofa and the rear wall. If I choose direct radiatiing speakers, how should I place them. especially if I choose the RB-61,,they do not have any way to hook straight on the wall like the RS-52's any help is welcomed.
