I have a question regarding the contoller pod for the promedia 5.1 speakers. I have been reading that there have been problems with the DIN cable going bad. I am not sure what the issue is with mine but the controller turns on I just cannot get any sound. I tried headphones and no sound out of them either. Is it the controller? I really don't want to spend a $100 to buy a new one. I have this system since 04 it has not worked since I moved 2 years ago. Is there anyone out there who works on these control bexes> I took it apart and looks like not much on the inside. I'm no elect tech though. Any advice?

Hi, I recently purchased a pair of Tangent 500 speakers. I amd trying to find a power source for these. Everyone is selling the home audio multi channel stuff. I am a 70's girl and don" know beans about that stuff. I used to own a Kenwood super eleven and loved it. I brought it back from Germany. I kept it till it quit working 4 yrs ago. I have no idea what to look for to do these speakers justice. Been looking on ebay but have no clue what to buy.Should I be looking for a two channel or or multi channel receiver? Need some help. Thanks
