  1. I have an opportunity to buy a pair of Chorus II that have had the center dome on both active woofers pushed in by someone. Can you tell me how this will effect the sound and if I should pass on buying them. Thanks
  2. I posted to the two channel forum about what speaker to buy for a 9X14x9 foot listening room and got lots of great input. I'm thinking about Cornwalls since I don't mind the size and I'm listening at lower volume levels. This way if I get more space in the future I won't be jumping to upgrade. I would like to listen to a pair before I buy and am looking for someone in central Iowa that might be kind enough to let me hear them. Thanks David
  3. I have a Baby Sophia Amp http://www.enjoythemusic.com/magazine/equipment/0703/sophiababy.htm and would like to mate it with a pair of Cornwall speakers in a 9 X 14 foot room. This is a 10 watt Push Pull Class A amp. I'm not planning on shaking the photos off the wall but wonder if this forum thinks this is enough power. This amp has on/off and volume control that's it. Thanks
  4. I am soon to have a dedicated music room with insulated wall and ceiling. The size is not big 9' 6" X 14'. Because of door placement for the room and closet I can only put speakers on the 9' wall. I would like to get some La Scala or Cornwall speakers because I want a large sound stage and dynamics. I will be powering this with a Sophia Baby 10watt tube amp with volume only control no tone adjustment. This is a two channel system only. Most listening will be a lower volumes. My question is 'am I nuts to think of using these speakers in such a small room'. Keeping in mind I'm looking for a large sound stage and dynamics is their better choices? Thanks for the assistance.
  5. Outside the obvious looks will I notice any difference in sound between these two?
