  1. So yesterday I received my new S4i headset and right off the bat they sounded amazing. But shortly after using them, I noticed that the button for skipping songs wasn’t working. Shortly after trying that, I decided to place a call, to find that neither the mic, nor the button worked for this as well.I have an iPhone 3G (Non 3Gs) which is said to be able to use everything but the volume control. I’m just wondering if I’m missing something, or if this won’t work. I’ve tried the headset in both another 3g phone, as well as a first gen, but don’t have access to a 3Gs. I bought them from Klipsch.com Thanks
  2. So I took your advice, went to my dealer and found my perfect setup.. at a great deal! Apparantly he bought out the last of the RF-7's which I fell in love with. This weekend I finished my setup: RC-7 Center, RF-7 Fronts, 4x Synergy S-3's for surround, and my RW-10d. With this, it takes anything I throw at it, without any issues what so ever. My music has never sounded better, I can feel every single small gunshot.. I'm just baffled by what I hear now. The two RF-7's and the RC-7 cost me around what I was going to pay for a pair of RF-82's (A little more.. but well worth it). To me, the RF-7's might be a bit aged, but I just can't get over the ammount of sound out of them, to me, they sound better than even the RF-83's (Which I did also look at while shopping around). Thanks for the advice, I'm really glad I shopped around now
  3. Thanks for the quick reply! I'm wanting to pay a visit to a local dealer soon to get a better idea, as well as see what kind of deals I can get (I picked up the RW-10d for 420 befre taxes there). I'm just worried about their judgement, as they seem to want to just sell what they can at times. So for the past three or four weeks, I've been learning everything under the sun about speakers, placement, size, height, sound and so on. I was also wondering about going for something better, as you said, maybe the RF-82's, I'm just wondering how these will preform with my RC-10 (One I do kind of regret, but it's worked great for the last year or so or a $120 buy) and if so, what I should look into there. I've looked at the RC-64, but I really don't like the idea of spending a grand on a center channel (Though I do know it's where the majority of voice comes from). I'm just torn on which way to go. I'm just wondering how everything will sound togather, as I have an odd setup. I tend to put way to much thought into simple things!
  4. So over the past few months, I've been slowly updating my home theater to a respectable setup. Currently I'm trying to decide on front speakers, as my current speakers aren't really up to par with everything else. My Setup: Denon 2309CI (Recent buy), RC-10, Two KLH-12" (Over a decade old, not sure of the model..), two S-3's ($250 from Vann's), RW-10d After running the Denon Audyssey auto-setup and a little tweaking, the sound is great, it blends well even with my antiquated KLH speakers. So I'm now I'm wanting more. I'm looking to upgrade my front left and right speakers to something more fitting with the rest. I'm looking into suggestions on what to go for, price is semi-negateable, but around $600-800 would be prefered. I've been looking into the RF-62's, RF-52's, F-3's($350 each on Amazon), as well as possibly going the Bookshelf route. I would more than likely be Bi-amping as I have no plans (Atleast not for a while) of running a 7.1 setup. I'm wondering if going with the cheaper F-3's would be a poor choice, as well as how well it would match up with my RC-10 (Which most will probably say is underpowered.. ). The speakers are all less than 6 feet away from the main listening point, so the size isn't as big of an issue (I really don't know the proper mesurements). The main useage will be Blu-Rays (I own over 130 thus far). Thanks in advance!
