OK. I want to know if these speakers provide bass enough WITHOUT a SUBWOOFER.

I am thinking about purchasing a couple of RF-62. They willl be driven by a HK-980 in a two channel system. I can NOT hear them before purchasing, so I make these IMPORTANT QUESTIONS: 1) Is HK-980 enough for driveng these speakers? 2) ¿what about DEEP bass in this speakers? ¿DOES RF-62 provide DEEP bass? deep bass IS NOT "a lot of bass" or 2 very stronf MID-BASS" i say DEEP bass. PLEASE, HELP.

Thank you. I am searching deeper bass, not more mid bass "pounchy". I Believed that the F-3, with the two 8 inch woofers and a very big and heavy cabinet, would go lower than my tannoys and could find tha last ocatve, but if the lower bass are equal in my tannoys than F-3, then I will not go for them. That is what I want to Konow, if the f-3 GOES DEEP WITHOUT SUBWOOFER... I wan deep bas, not a lot of bass in the mid-bass region, horrible in my listening room.

I think I would choose F-3 because has reflex port in the front, and speaker has to be put close to the rear wall. But before I have to know, if possible, that this speaker is a real upgrade of my tannoys,s http://www.tannoy.com/ResidentialDetail.aspx?pid=281&sid=65 Upgrade means finding one more ocatve than my tannoys ( I DO NOT use sobwoofer, and I suppouse this spekers does not need it), , smooth medium and good upper (without stridences). Pehaps british sound of the tannoys is very different tann the F-3.... ¡¡¡¡help!!!! So, ´d like an opinion of an owner of these speakers, or anyone who knows or has listened thes speakers, or can put a link to a serius review... The brand is very good, but I am not able to listen them before purchasing. And, ¿why the sensitivity is so high? i have read that sensitivity too high produces more distortion.

I can upgrade upgrade my tannoy,s mercury F4 custom with one of these models: F-3, RF-62 or F-2. Amplifier is a HARMAN HARDON HK-980. My question is if the change is right or no. These speakers, with very high senssitivity ¿are intended for valve systems? ¿are too bright in the upper range? I will do the change if these epakers are BETTER than my TANNOY.s. Better mean better low end, better midrange, tonal purity and trebble not bright... 1) ¿is a good change? 2) What model is best for my HK-980. Personally, I prefer the F·, but i can take another. Please help me.
