  1. First, I love these darn speakers. They rock. A few questions however. First, I notice that the rear speakers are way louder than the fronts. Yes, the correct plugs are inserted (to sound card and speaker wires to the sub, and have also switched sound card plugs) In general, what setting should the rear volume be set to on the pod? (Volume module) The subwoofer. Isn't this sub supposed to shatter windows and decaptitate people close by? As far as sound cards, I've tried the sb live platinum 5.1, Phillips acoustic edge, and turtle beach santa cruz. The sb live seems to have tons more bass. But, I've elected to use the turtle beach (better sound quality in windows 2000) One last question. I plan on buying the 5.1 from Klipsch. I'd like to use these (v.2-400) for my Yamaha Dsp Factory sound card. However, there are only S/PDIF and regular rca stereo connections (left and right) on the card. How to use 4 speakers with it? Thanks in advance.
  2. My vote is for the Yamaha DSP Factory. I have one arriving this morning. quote: Originally posted by jonpratt: I want to inject my opinion into this arena... The best soundcard, without CRUSHING your wallet.... TURTLE BEACH FIJI! check out the test http://www.pcavtech.com/soundcards/
  3. Currently, I have the Klipsch green cable hooked up to the Philips green connector, and the purple connected to the black one. Is this the correct setup? The reason I ask, is while playing Swat 3, the rear speakers are louder than the front, and the rear volume is only on the half way mark. Thanks. One other note - I love these speakers. They actually replaced Boston Acoustics BA-4800's
