  1. The subwoofer purchase is on hold. I found a way to fit my KV3 in my home theater stand (stood it upright). Therefore the KG2.5Vs are still my fronts in the small room setup. I would like to get a sub in the future, maybe replace my KSW-200. But for now a snow blower seems more pressing.
  2. Looking at some reviews, they agree with you 100%. I think the sub-10 may be the way to go for me. I have always found the KSW-200 a bit boomy. Its a nice sub, but I like it better for HT than music. I assume the KSW-150 might be a bit boomy as well.
  3. I do to. I have 2 KV3's and they sound great. Now the KV2 I was not impressed with. When comparing a KV2 and KV3 it was a night and day difference. The KV3 was so much clearer and had more presence. My KV3 is matched up with a KG4.5 on one system and a KG2.5V on another system.
  4. Those sunfire subs look great, but are out of my price range. I am thinking of going with a used KSW-150 or KSW-200. For some reason as the subs get newer from the KSW-150 to the KSW-10 to the current Sub-10, they look cheaper.
  5. In my Living room I have a Klipsch KSW-200, which pretty much loafs most of the time. Never really pushed it that hard, but its got headroom to spare. Looking up some old Subs, I am now considering the following: KSW-100, KSW-10, and KSW-150. The KSW-100 and KSW-50 might work too, they have an 8" driver. I am leaning toward a used KSW-10 right now.
  6. Here is the short version. I am looking for a small powered subwoofer 8-10inch for using with Klipsch KV3/KG2.5V speakers. I am looking for something used that was produced around the time of the KV3 (mid 90's), although would consider something newer as well. Room is only 13X15. Long Version: Due to space constraints I have to reconfigure my setups. I have a Living room HT setup and a prologic setup in my master bedroom. I am currently using KV3's for centers on the 2 systems, however the KV3 is too wide for my new TV stand, so I must use one of my KG2.5V (currently front in the master bedroom setup). This means for the master bedroom I will have a KG2.5V as a center and 2 KV3's as fronts. The KV3's do not go down as low as the KG2.5V's, so I am looking for a subwoofer to help. That system is mostly 2 channel or TV watching. Its for the 2 channel stuff that I expect the SW to be used.
