  1. I recently picked up a pair of 1971 Heresy's at a great price. They were probably in storage for years as one had a missing grill and faded woofer, but the speakers sound great connected to my Nuera 3403SE tube amp. The cabinets were originally unfinished, but unfortunately someone hit them with a coat of clear finish years ago and they are marked up a bit, but I LOVE their "character". I would like to know if I can upgrade the K-22 woofers with Crites CW1228 speakers and still use the original crossovers, K-77-M tweeters, and K-55-V midranges. I did find a beautiful pair of original cane grills on ebay and can't wait to get the woofers replaced/upgraded. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  2. After giving it more thought, I've decided to hold out for a nice set of older Heresy's. I just can't let go of my enjoyable memories of listening to a couple of unfinished birch beauties back in the 70's. I'll either move to a larger room or chuck some furniture...GRIN Also, I'm really curious to experience the sound of a Jolida JD202 through a pair of Heresy's.
  3. I'm new here in the forum and have a question about speakers. As much as I would love to use Heresy's, I just don't have enough space in my listening room. I would like to hear some opinions on bookshelf speakers I can use with a Jolida JD-202A integrated tube amp until I move the gear into a larger room. I have the chance to purchase a pair of KG 1.5's for $100, but I am not familar with that model. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Long ago, in a galaxy far away, I once owned a pair of Klipschorns .
