  1. Its pretty bad when you have the upgrade bug and the new equipment is not even set up yet! The wife is not happy. lol
  2. After months of looking and comparing prices I picked up my new HT system today. RF-62's fronts, RC-62, and RS-42's. My local dealer matched internet pricing so I pulled the trigger. I got the RC-62 for $350. However as I was waiting for them to bring up my speakers I find a floor model RC-64 marked down to $500. I am wondering if the 64 would be too much for my RF-62's. I am thinking yes, but what a deal on a 64. My AVR is Denon 790. What do you think?
  3. Hi all. Need opinions on center channel system. I am building a new HT. Due to room size and budget I have settled on the RF-52's for fronts. I know Klipsch. recommends the Rc 52 to go with them . Would I gain much by upping to the RC 62 and would they be compatable with the RF 52's. Denon 90w/channel AVR. Looking at RS-10 for rears.
  4. I would be interested in the RC-52. Would have to be shipped to Montana. Let me know
  5. Good idea on the stand. With that I could go back to the RC-52 and save some money. I don't feel that good about putting 90lbs on top of a $500 speaker. Would an open design like that support the TV? I am not savy on woodworking structures
  6. Thanks for the reply. The base of the TV is fine width wise, but looks like I will have 2.5" overhang of the base of the TV. Nothing too critical I hope. A good excuse to upgrade the center speaker. lol
  7. I am finally upgrading to HD theater after 20 years of old equipment. So much to learn. New TV-54G10, new blu-ray- LG390. Shopping for AVR & speakers. Have pretty much settled on RF-52 for fronts. Was also getting the RC-52. Ran into a placement problem with the center speaker. The TV sits on a new stand, no place for the center. So I though I could mount TV on wall and place RC-52 on stand under TV. The mount would run $100. So for the money I could upgrade to the RC-62 and place the TV on top of the speaker. Would the 62 support 90lbs? Has anyone done this kind of placement? Would the RC-62 be too much upgrade for the RF-52's? Help me figure this out.
