  1. Thanks...I got it out. I looked at that side board under magnification and the soldering on it is absolutely horrible. Very bad quality control on that board. The other boards look much better. That fix isn't working for me. I'll have to phone Klipsch on Monday and see what they will do for me. Thanks for your help!
  2. Was the amp on your sub-12 glued into place? I am going to try your fix as mine has the light on but no movement. However I need to take the speaker out to get at my amplifier as I can't get the amp out after removing all the outer screws. thanks
  3. The led light on the front is on but nothing from the speaker. Checked it on another amp and nothing from the speaker. I am out of warranty (2 years) on the amp. Is the amp glued in on the sub-12? I removed all the outer screws and it wouldn't come out. I had to remove the speaker to look inside. I might try the sub-12 fix diy fix that was posted here. Otherwise I am not sure how I'd be able to send just the amp in for replacment if I can't get it out. I am in Canada and shipping the hole amp back is out of the question. I'm really bummed about this. The sub is about 3 years old and has been babied in a home theater. I didn't expect it to die so soon EDIT: I was able to remove the amp...it was just really tight. I hope I can get a replacement. I don't see any leaking caps or burnt IC's.
