  3. Hello again peeps, In my 60th Anniversary Khorns ad I mentioned that I would be selling other goodies to fund my schooling. Here is a very near perfect Onkyo TX-NR709 HT receiver. I purchased to use with my 3D projector. It is a great HT receiver and will power efficient speakers quite well (anyone know of a speaker brand that is really effecient) [] It was purchased in April of 2012 and a 3 yr warranty from h.h. gregg is included (I am not sure if it is transferable). I am including a wifi adapter with it as well. I am asking $360 o.b.o. Cheers, Fred
  4. tblake10, they sound amazing!! I have an H/K 730 right now, I can only imagine what they would sound like with tubes...
  5. Thx for the kind words I am located in Terre Haute Indiana, which is only 2 1/2 hours from Cincy
  6. I have lowered the price because I REALLY need to get these to a new home!! Hello all, With much regret I must sell my 60th Anniversary Klipschorns. I purchased these a little over a year ago. When I purchased them, they were still in the factory crate, unopened/untouched! I was not planning on spending the crazy amount (at least to me) on a pair of speakers but hey they ARE 60ths I did not open them at first, as I was unsure of my plans. A few months ago, I lost my job and decided to go back to school. I have been accepted into the Respiratory Therapy program at our local school (only 12 people per year!!). Needless to say, our financial situation has changed drastically. Between classes and clinicals, I will need every penny I can find, and must part with a once in a lifetime find. I noticed that another pair sold a few months ago, and the asking price was around $9000. I am asking $6800 o.b.o. for these near perfect Klipschorns. They are number 164a/b of 200 sets. I do not think that you will be able to find a pair of 60ths as new as these (used less than 1 year!). I will ship these, as I still have the original boxes and crate. I will post more pics if needed. Cheers, Frederick I will also be listing a few other items that I must also part with... Stay tuned
  7. Hi and thanks for the reply. I did contact tech support and have a new tweet on its way to me as I type this. Thanks, Fred
  8. Hello all, I am having an issue with a recently acquired RC-35 (got it from my best friend). I have hooked it up and it sounds very 'hollow'. When I put my ear to the tweet, I can barely hear it. I have read other post about pinched wires etc... I have removed the tweeter and hooked it up straight to the speaker wire and get the same result. If there is some info that I have not put in this post, please let me know. I see that it has the K-130-DN tweeter. If the tweeter needs replaced, is there an upgrade that I should consider?? Your help is greatly appreciated! Fred
