  1. I was close. One pair is 3ft 2in and the other is 4ft 2in.
  2. I'll try to snap some actual pictures of them tonight and measure the lengths of each pair.
  3. These are two custom built pairs of DH Labs White Lightening cable with Luminous Audio Silver Locking RCA plugs. Each pair is about 3ft, but I think one is a few inches longer. They were soldered with Cardas Quad Eutectic and are fantastic unbalanced cables. $50 per pair plus shipping
  4. -BJC Ten White Speaker Cable- This 7ft pair of speakers cables has the factory ultrasonically welded locking banana plugs and are in like-new condition. They are great cables with the 10 gauge wire for high current and low impedance, but don't fit behind my new wall mounted speakers. I personally picked these up from the BJC shop, so they have never been abused in the mail before.. Priced at about half of what BJC charges, take home by far the best factory speaker cables for the money! $50 plus actual shipping to your door
  5. Sold locally; thanks!
  6. How about $300 shipped in a double box?
  7. I have a nice B&K PT5 with remote, power cord, optional wiring block, and double box with foam if that interests you.
  8. I also have a PT5 preamp if that tickles anyone's interest.
  9. I have a nice B&K ST202 stereo power amp for offer. It's a warm and musical sounding MOSFET amp and sounds awesome. It runs nice and cool; it was even recently biased! The amp comes with handles and pan head bolts for two different options, and is the newer version with red/blue lettering. This is the best and most dynamic B&K amp of its time, and a bargan in audiophile terms! The amp will be be shipped in a double box with foam packing and insurance; $250 plus shipping and paypal. The specs: Class AB MOSFET # of channels - 2 Pwr rating @ 8 Ω - 150/ch Pwr rating @ 4 Ω - 200/ch Prs output devices/ch - 3 Amperage (amps p-p) - 28 Dynamic head room - 1.5dB Frequency response - 5-45kHz Dampening factor (50Hz) - 180 Input sensitivity - Unbalanced (RCA) 1.4V Input impedance (Ω) 24k IM distortion (SMPTE) - .09% THD Rating - .9% Slew Rate - 14v/μs S/N (A Weighted) - 95dB Level Controls - N Balanced Inputs - N Dimensions in Inches - 17x5.25x16 (WxHxD) Production Run - 88-93
  10. The speakers were built by a company named Soniphase out of Seattle; I highly recommend them if you have a few figures to spend. Besides having sold the speakers over a year ago, there is an 18" trim accent all the way around my listening room where the foundation lives. It's fine for normal speakers, but would cause corner horns with wings to sit out in the room a few inches. Traditional speakers have been working great in my room, as the concrete floor creates a great support and limited resonance.
  11. In my last house, I had a pair of corner horns which were the best speakers I've ever owned. Not only could they produce a very natural and realistic sound stage, but they frequency response wanted for nothing. However, I had to sell them when I moved over a year ago because my listening room can no longer accommodate corner horns. I have purchased many acclaimed speakers since then including Martin Logan, Polk SDA, Klipsch CF-3, and even custom built 3-way speakers using reference drivers. The problem is that I've never reached the performance or enjoyment level of those corner horns with any of the speakers that followed. Do I have hope to find a pair of speakers that will reach that performance level again? I know that corner horns are their own animal, and that those physics are hard to replicate, but maybe someone of here has found a worthy substitution for those who don't have good corners? Thank you for the help and the salvation!
  12. They are rough looking, and I'm not sure living room material...
  13. A nice looking pair for the same $1200: http://app.audiogon.com/listings/full-range-klipsch-cornwall-ii-crites-upgrades-2013-12-17-speakers-07652-paramus-nj
  14. I asked about the woofer and he said they are original, so it might be reflection from the camera flash or something similar. The seller is asking $1200 which is just crazy, but I though it was worth looking into since I've only ever seen the horizontal versions locally.
  15. Thanks guys! They look a little rough, but might be worth a look/listen. Any idea how the vertical horn orientation compares aurally to the latter horizontal? I like the idea that they would be fairly kid proof...
  16. These are being sold locally, and I've never seen a version exactly like this. Seller says all the drivers are original, but he doesn't know much beyond that except that they sound good. Thanks for the help!
  17. Forte was the companion line to Threshold, with that being said much of the Threshold technology found its way to the Forte product line. The Forte F44 is a Pure Class A, two channel, preamplifier line stage, with 6 inputs, plus tape loop. Has 2 pre outs as well as balanced inputs as well as balanced outputs. J-fet inputs with FET outputs is main topology of this unit. The remote controls Volume and Input Selector as well as Mute. The Volume and Input Selector are motor driven as opposed to electronic switching. The Forte Model F44 has the ability to deliver the music to a very high level indeed and there is little to fault with this preamp. The remote feature is nice, but have not used that as much as I thought I would. But nonetheless it is provided and adds to the overall enjoyment of this unit; the Forte F44 has the build quality that became one of the benchmarks of Threshold. The unit sound fantastic, will come with manual, sticky remote, and power cord. $350 plus shipping, and will be mailed in double box and foam packing.
  18. To clarify from a few emails, a 12V battery is not included with this preamp, but the Gary Dodd recommend CTek smart charger is included; plus the TrippLite power supply for non-battery power. A battery would be prohibitively expensive to ship, and a good one can be found at any local Radio Shack, etc. I would be willing to include a battery for a local sale.
  19. Here is a picture of the power supply and tubes and the dampers will be included; with extra stock tubes behind in bubble wrap. I do leave the power supply on 24/7 for best results as it doesn't run too warm.
