  1. Due to wife and small child I must relenquish my black Epic CF-3s. Sound fantastic. One small blemish on one corner. Not bad for five years of faithful use. If interested, make me an offer. I did get them 5 years ago for $2000. I'm not abandoning Klipsch. I'm going to use the $$$ to get a Quintet setup w/ 12 inch sub. My kids can't climb on those speakers!! And, they're small enough to be purty. JT
  2. Thanks dougdrake. Good feedback. I hadn't looked at it like that. I will likely splurge and go with the RS-3s. I can't wait to experience the matrix over this system! JT ------------------ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Epic CF-3s Onkyo bias
  3. I love the sound of Onkyo. I don't have it, but may soon... Onkyo 595 ------------------ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Epic CF-3s Onkyo bias
  4. After some more research here is what I'm thinking: Onkyo 595 KLF-C7 for center Quintets for rears Toshiba SD1600 or 1700 for DVD I'm still budget concious, but I want quality! Your opinion is greatly appreciated!!! JT
  5. I've got the Epic CF-3 Towers to work from. This site recommends the KLF-C7 as a center channel. Is this the closest match to the Epics? For surrounds - the site recommends the RS-3's, but is it as important to macth the real channels? I was contimplating some Quintets for the rears (real inexpensive on ebay). I am budget concious, as I'd also like a solid receiver. I have an old Onkyo that I was very happy with, but it doesn't have DTS or a preamp for a future sub. I was thinking about getting a receiver with a DVD built in. Any opinions on this? I appreciate the feedback! JT
