So if wanted to buy, say, a second KSW-12 and Eddie has it for 249 and my local dealer has it for 459; which way should I go? I don't understand where Eddie is getting this merchandise and selling it so cheap. Is Klipsch selling refurb compenents to dealers like Crazy Eddie? Where can I get ahold of some of these products? Bob, can you please elaborate on Crazy Eddie NOT being an authorized dealer? If not, tell me why I shouldn't buy a Klipsch product from him. Again, I LOVE my Klipsch products, but I also like my money! All I can think about is I can buy more Klipsch stuff with the extra money! Found out CrazyEddie.com is selling some of the Klipsch line. For price comparison, I bought a KSW-12 at the local dealer for $400+. Crazy Eddie has it for $289. Is CrazyEddie a certified dealer? I am using the KSB 1.1 for rears. They sounded a bit tingy and didn't handle the power I wanted for the mains. I was first introduced to these speakers at our companies conference room. The tech demoed some music, video, and other stuff for me and I was inmpressed. If you are building a bookshelf system, these would be fine. However, if you are building a home theater, you may want to step up to the SF or RF series and use the KSB 1.1 for the rears. Ok. This is a strange one. One random DVD's, in either DD or DTS, only the center channel will cut out intermittantly. There is no cracking or scratching and when the center works, it is perfectly clear. Sometimes I don't even know it has gone out until the people's mouth's move and no words come out . I've done everything from checking the wire connections to making sure the contacts haven't fused together. Sometimes, if I turn the "Effect" (Yes it's a Yamaha Receiver) off and on, the center will come back on. I've had the yamaha in the shop, but the "techs" said there was nothing wrong, of course. I never play the movies a paint peeling levels so I don't think it is an overheating problem. Maybe the center amp in the receiver has a short? But again, the "techs" said there was nothing wrong.
