  1. My CF-2's are starting to feel old. Are there any updates/upgrades for they that people have tried?
  2. I have a pair of old epic cf-2's that I dearly love and would like to bring some new life too. Recently I added a subwoofer and was wondering if my cf-2's would benefit form sealing the front port on the bottom (single port on my cf-2). Basically turning it into a sealed system. Or if there are any upgrades I do (crossover, speakers, etc). If not I am afraid my quest for audio enlightment will retire my cf-2's into the basement.
  3. I got a pair of CF-2's with the old KV-4 center channel. Does anyone know what would be a decent matching rear surround. BTW I don't have much space so am considering an in-wall. Thanks..
  4. Sorry.. That should be Klipsch Epic CF-2's Klipsch KV-4 Center
  5. Hello, Klipsch Epic CF-2's KV-1 Center... What surrounds would be a good match? Pefer something that uses the same woofer/horn as the CF-2 & KV-1.
  6. Mikekid, Any chance you have individual specs on the speakers used in the KV-4. K-64-KN 2" (5.08cm) Tweeter K-1035-KN 8" (20.32cm) Poly cone woofer I am going ot see if I can find substitutes for them in order to build my own KV-4.
  7. Hello, Can anyone tell me a good Klipsch center channel that would match a pair of Epic CF-2's? (I don't believe they ever had an epic series model). Current or previous model center, whatever matches well... If you have a suggestion could you please post specs? Thanks..
  8. Rowoo... Due to cost considerations I quickly have benched the Tube amp idea... Maybe some other day. Later Demented
  9. Hello, I am looking to build a single center channel to match my pair of Epic CF-2's.. My question is where can I purchase a Tractix horn? Does anyone besides Klipsch manufacture them?? Does Klipsch sells parts directly? Thought was to use a basic center channel design. 1 horn between two mid range 6.5" speakers. Thanks..
  10. I was considering building a tube amp and wonder how little power I can get away with. BTW I still want them to pound Bach.. we all have our limits.
