[Still Looking for Cornwalls in Texas if possible]

Where are you in Texas?  I'm in Houston, and I have a pair that date from about 1961 that I bought in 1980 but am not interested in keeping.

[Pair 1961 Cornwalls - Houston]

I have a pair of Cornwalls.  I understand they were called Cornwall IIs due to the vertical components. I can't find the speaker serial numbers, but the components are:

 

    K-33-J woofers (#1186 & 1191)  220119 on rim

    K55V midranges (#2050 and 2040) with K-1000 horns

    K77 tweeters (#110 & 111)

 

I understand that the code on the rim dates the woofer to 1961.

 

I bought them used in 1983. I replaced the grill cloth, removed the paint, and stained them.  Otherwise, i believe that everything is original and pretty much in perfect shape.

 

I'm asking $900 for the pair.

 

 

 

[Dating early 60s Cornwalls]

I have some old Cornwalls.
I can't find the speaker tags with the serial numbers, but the
components are:

K-33-J woofers (#1186 & 1191)

K55V midranges (#2050 & 2040) with K-1000 horns

K77 tweeters (#110 & 111)

From reading these posts, it looks like these would be from before
1963 when they changed to the K-600 horns.
On the rim of one woofer is "220119", which might mean Jensen (220) made
the 19^th week of 1961 (119).
Also on the rim is P15LL C6953. Can
anyone tell the date of the speakers from the component serial numbers or the
photographs I've attempted to post?

I bought the speakers used in 1983. I replaced the grill cloth and removed the

modified any of the electronics. They
still look and sound great, but my wife isn't sure they're worth the real
estate they occupy in the living room.
What would they be worth if we decided to sell them (in Houston)?
