Cornwall II --> KLF-C7 or Academy Center?

I am currently using an Academy center with Cornwall I front speakers. Is this the recommended center for the Cornwall I speakers also? On an unrelated note, the horn in the Academy is vertical rather than horizontal. What is the reasoning for this placement? Thanks, Jim
