I am new to Klipsch, but not audio. Just bought these 82 Heresy speakers. One of the dust covers seems to have torn away from the speaker, and took a bit of the top layer of the cone with it. Will the loss of the top layer of cone have much of an affect on the sound once I add a new dust cover? Should I just go ahead and replace both woofers? I plan on doing Crites mod on the crossovers. Any suggestions regarding bring these back to thier glory is appreciated.
I bought these so I could check out horns (might get some cornwalls next if I like these), and check out some tubes and SET stuff. Just thinking of venturing into a new area of hi-fi.
