  1. Hey KC, Thanks so much for taking the time to document this! I am in the same boat, that is the hissing coming from the speakers. I too have a bit of soldering experience and would like to give this a shot before abandoning it for a new set up. I found the location of the capacitors thanks to your pics and have a few questions: 1. Can you give me the values of these? There appears to be two of two different kinds 2. There appears to be 3 screws attaching the board to the assembly, one of which is not accesable, how do you recommend disassembly to change out those 4 capacitors. Any other advice would be appreciated, thanks! Chris
  2. Hey Cowboy, I am in the same boat, did you find a solution? Chris
  3. nytejade, I saw your post on the Klipsh forum and wanted to touch base with you. I am a fellow New Yorker from Mineola LI, I am in the Air Force and have not lived in NY for 28 years. I have the promedia system and it no longer works. I think it got shaken around during a recent move. I was very disappointed to unpack it and get no sound from it. Your post indicates the fix may be in replacement of the amp chips from Harmon, and an upgrade to the power supply. I will call Harmon tommorow. Are they the source of the power supply repair as well? Please provide any info you think would be helpful to get my system up and running in the shortest and cost effective manner. Thanks in advance! Chris 757 268 5180
