I was in Okinawa Mar '89-'90, Camp Foster 1st MAW. Went to the PX one day to listen to speakers. Went into the speaker room saw they had a pair of Klipsch Tangent 50s and a pair of Bose 601s hooked up to a Nakamichi (90watt I think) receiver. so I cranked it up to about halfway on the Bose, then without turning it down clicked right over to the Klipsch.............SOLD! Just under $750 and TWO Cab rides to the barracks! Ran them from a Carver C-2 Pre-amp, Carver m200t amp, DBX 120X-DS Xover, DBX cd Player, SAE A202 amp to a DBX SW-3830 sub. Traded the Tangents to a guy for a pair of Cerwin Vega D-9s when i got back in the states..............shold have Never gotten rid of them!

The Caps I can do (Already re-capping a Yammi M-80 amp at the moment) On the Crites website now gathering info for the rebuild!! Should I just re-cap the XO's or get the rebuild kit?

New to the Forum! Just picked up a pair of KG3.2s for $130!!! Have them in my 2 channel system with Carver C-5 preamp, TFM-35x Power amp and Logitech Squeezebox for source. These things really sound sweet! Years ago I owned a pair of Tangent 50s and like an idiot, got rid of them! Picking up a pair of KG3.5s in a couple days I got for $125 Not sure where I'll use them, probably on my computer system with a Carver TFM-6CB. Will post pics soon! Great Forum! Very undecided on the VOXX purchase....................[]
