  2. I e-mailed you about my whole problem and you never even responded... ------------------ AMD K7 Athlon 750@825mhz Gigabyte GA-7IXE Leadtek Winfast Geforce2 GTS 32MB DDR Crucial 256MB PC 133 CL-2 Maxtor 27GB UDMA66 7200RPM Creative Labs Sound Blaster 16 PleXtor PleXWriter 12/10/32A SamSung SD-608 DVD 8x AOpen AON-201 10M PCI Ethernet Adapter AMK OCD-3344 24" tower Case 300W PS /w 7 fans Acana 19" .26mm Professional 19TP Klipsch Pro Media 4.1 Microsoft Wheel Mouse optical Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Windows 98SE 3DMark 2001 = 2926 Compare Windows 2000 Pro 3DMark 2001 = 2859 Compare "Death smiles at us all... all that man can do is smile back"
  3. I know you've been hearing this a lot... but I'll elaborate anyways. After 2 weeks my first set of 4.1's began to show static in one of the front channels... until the point where I couldn't take it... talked to Klipsch and they sayed a "small" batch got out where the sub was defective... so I took it to the dealer I bought it from and waited a MONTH!!! Finally today I got my replacement(suppose to be a brand new one sent straight from Klipsch's factory). Well guess what... I got static in the front right channel a few minutes after plugging them in... Now what am I suppose to do? Take it back to the store and wait another month with the chance of getting a THIRD defective sub? They might start to suspect something if I keep doing this... Or send it to Klipsch and possibly wait even longer? I don't even know if I can get a refund as the dealer is obviously not aware of this problem. 4. umm actually I JUST seen a review... and it was of the 4.1's!!! and the sub had a MASTER POWER SWITCH on the back of it, and also the plug in was different; instead of being attached like mine it looked like you could remove it from the sub itself. http://www.tbreak.com/hard/othr/klipsch41/page2.asp See? the back of my cord is attached and I don't have a switch like that .
  5. umm I have a little problem here I've got the 4.1's... and yes the box said "4.1's" and the speaker has the headphone jack, and mp3 player output.... but my sub doesn't have the power switch. I've always been having troubles with my sub... do I have the old v2.400 sub with the new 4.1 Speakers? I also seen a review today where they were doing the 4.1's and it had a power switch on it. This is making me mad!!!

  7. I couldn't see my reply in my other topic and it's rather Important so here it is; I e-mailed Klipsch and was told that I might have a bad set where the sub heats up so bad you get distortion? Well I wanna be positive since I got a ways to drive and packing to do if I take these back. The Static seems to be coming from the front right outlet... because I've changed the speaker, the wire, the position, muted everything, adjust volume on the computer, etc. Still the static reamians... it comes and go's though. Anyways my point... I woke up last morning and this and static was still there while the sub was COLD... so does this mean I don't have the bad set or once it has time to heat up the first time it will always be a little distorted? I haven't always had this static, and I have noticed the sub gets quite hot. Anyway I can tell for sure? Thanks

  10. My front right speaker was giving me troubles before... you could here faint static when you put your ear up to it... now this morning the 1 speaker is just horrid. I still got my crappy Sound Card for now(new one will be here sometime next week hopefully)... but anyways WTF is causing this? It's extremely bad in the one speaker when I turn up the volume... I tried to compensat by turning it down on the computer but it didn't work... anyone have this same problem? I even moved the speaker away by it's self... same thing... it's wire isn't touching any others... seems to be plugged into the sub nice and tight... only thing I'm thinking is the splitter could be causing problems... but I tried it with just 2 front speakers and no splitter and I STILL got static... I'm only posting this because it's REALLY bad in the one speaker this morning. I can't stand it... I'm thinking about taking these back... ------------------ AMD K7 Athlon 750@825mhz Gigabyte GA-7IXE Leadtek Winfast Geforce2 GTS 32MB DDR Crucial 256MB PC 133 CL-2 Maxtor 27GB UDMA66 7200RPM Creative Labs Sound Blaster 16 PleXtor PleXWriter 12/10/32A SamSung SD-608 DVD 8x AOpen AON-201 10M PCI Ethernet Adapter AMK OCD-3344 24" tower Case 300W PS /w 7 fans Acana 19" .26mm Professional 19TP Klipsch Pro Media 4.1 Microsoft Wheel Mouse optical Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Windows 98SE 3DMark 2001 = 2926 Compare Windows 2000 Pro 3DMark 2001 = 2859 Compare "Death smiles at us all... all that man can do is smile back"
