  1. Could someone please tell me what a pair of black satin H FB heresy2 cost back in 1988 with and without the riser thanks
  2. Could someone please tell me which side of the riser screws to the bottom of the speaker the flat side or the slant side or does it matter thanks
  3. when did the heritage series come out my friends cornerhorns are from 1985 he does not think they are the heritage series mine are 1995 models I also dont know if either of ours are maybe just the newer ones anyone know. Also when I was trying to figure out why I couldnt get them to play last night I down loaded the owners manual last night I saw where there was a jumper wire the manual said leave it in place unless your going to biwire. My friend who has had his for 25 years said im nuts he has never heard of a jumper wire and that khorns have been around for 60 years. and not much has changed Anyway whats the deal with the jumper wire thanks again to all
  4. I want to thank you guys very much for helping such a stupid guy like myself.Im so embarrassed to tell you why my khorns sounded the way they did but I will. When I hooked them up to the adcom it was the quickest amp to get to as I was in a hurry. I forgot the adcom was still hooked to the apogee studio grands dax crossover which was powering the botom subs not to mention the dax crossover was off. Im so stupid.I put the adcom and adcom cd player and the hk preamp on the floor all by itself and took my time hooking things up man how sweet they sound you guys are great thanks to all
  5. Finally after having these for two months I finally got the chance to listen to them tonight I have several amps I could have listened to them through I picked the one that was easy to get to I used a adcom 555 amp going through a harmonkardon citation 17 preamp that combo sounds ok through other speakers . It was a sick muddy sound any ideas thanks
  6. On my pair of 1995 Dec 15 build date to be exact I thought I read somewhere that there should be two computer generated serial number employed test and inspected stickers one for bottom cabinet and one for the top hat. I read that botom would say low freq and the top would say high freq with serial numbers matching. I only have one sticker on bottom I assume in 1995 they just have one bottom sticker since mine does not say low freq on either speaker I do have a s1 stampd into the wood on both bottom and top on one speaker the other is s2 on the other top and bottom
  7. is less than 0.05 total harmonic distortion and less than 0.05% from0.015 watts to 150 watts intermodulation distortion ok specs this day in time thanks
  8. I wonder from start to finish including every little detail how long it takes to complete a set of cornerhorns total hours involved in the process. Also does anyone have or know from the beginning 60 years ago the price list each year the cost of a set of cornerhorns from beginning to presentfor the basic pair not including custom orders?
  9. Just got my 1995 cherry k horns just wondering please give me some advise on the proper amp set up to use. I have several older harmonkardon citation 16A with the matching citation 17 preamp . They are all in bridgemode currently I think 300 watts mono block. Should i run one for each side or put one back to stereo mode 150 watts per side. This is the only set up i have available to me at the moment . I have learned from you guys reading all the posts that khorns dont require much watts at all to sound great and probably 150 is to much thanks for the input. Your input will be greatly appreciated.
