  1. Sorry for the confusion guys.

I did sell them to James (Woofers and Tweeters), although we aren't planning to ship them at this time. Those details will be worked out later.

  2. Note on the price. Since these are the black versions, the top scratches, rear indentations, and loose grill magnets, I thought 500 was fair. Even given their extreme rareness. Functionally, they are still 100% and sound great. I currently have them connected to the MC240 in the listening room. They still sound great, especially for their size.

  3. SOLD 10/28/2018

    Location: Amana, IA 52203.

These were my old surround duty speakers when I had RF-7s in my main home theater. I sold those long ago, but decided to hold onto the RB-75s because of their rareness. Well, they have been in storage ever since. I went and and cleaned them up a bit and they still sound 100%.

Please see photos for details. No major dents in any of the veneer. However, there is some scratching on the tops. Also, on the back of one, are two little indentions from a pair of small security screws to hold the speaker. The grills also appear to have some loose magnets when you remove them. They are solid with the grills attached.

Looking for 500 dollars. Would prefer not to ship, as they have been known to be damaged during shipping and I do not have the boxes for these speakers.

    Thank you

like i said, makes no sense to pay more for 2 incorrect passives when all he has to do is recone 1 or buy a single used one & keep them in correct stock form.  wasn't trying to argue with your suggestion, just stating a more logical & cheaper way to resolve it.

    Link to where its incorrect?

Look above for confirmation that the passives work fine.

they may work but would look funny with mismatched surrounds.  some guys might not care about that but most do & come re-sale time you have to explain why they dont match.

with used ones available & a correct recone kit so cheap i suggest keeping them matched to the originals.

Like I said, if you go the new route, you need to buy 2.

new ones from klipsch are not the same as the older ones, they have a rubber surround, not the accordian fabric.

best option is have them reconed by simply speakers or buy the kit & do it yourself... or search here & ebay for a used one in good shape.

Wasn't there a thread where one of the Klipsch engineers said the new ones would work?

In terms of rubber or accordion fabric, that is simply a matter of taste. They are going to function the same. Just make sure to buy two and replace both.
