When you stop and really take in just how powerful the sun
is and then know it’s just a spec to the power of god. Kind of makes me teary
lol

Yes that’s how I understood it as well only the rf-7ii
(timbre match) to the rc-64ii. There is another official klipsch forum I think its
uk or germen not sure I will give you the link you might have to google the addy and translate it
but I think my link has it for you already. I agree 100% I would be very upset
if they raised the price and then lowered the quality. I have heard the original
rc-64 in an ht set up and it sounds very good (with the rf-83). It’s a different
sound but very powerful, and clean (I would be very happy with it) I can say
with a good amount confidence that the new rf-64ii is just as good as the old
one in its different way(matching sound to the rf-7ii) I just can’t see klipsch
going cheaper on quality and then
raising the price.

To try and comprehend anything that complicated is difficult
and some people need it to be more understandable to put their heart into it. Sometimes
it takes being able to see it firsthand (I would be dead a long time ago
without god in my life) I always say look up at the sun. You can roughly put 1
million earths inside that star and it will burn for billions of years. Things
that massive are beyond our simple minds to ever truly grasp. And the sun is a tiny
spec in the universe. I do agree that religion is man-made but man was created
by god so is there a difference?

Gotcha good to know. Surprised at how much weight the rc-64ii dropped while still keeping the shielding.
I read that they use the lighter neodymium magnets. I don’t know
for sure but I know that those magnets are lighter whether they are better or
not I have no idea. I do know that too much magnet can be over kill, and more isn’t
always better. The new rc-64ii is being timbre matched to a different speaker
then before (rf-83 rf-63) so maybe matching it to the rf-7ii has something to
do with it to. You would think if they skimped on the new 6.5s, and used a
weaker version in the new speaker that the stats wouldn’t be improved like they
are. I guess only they know

Would it not be bad to not have video shielding? Still wish i had cherry cabs but you can't go wrong with black. Listened to some music last week and was again very satisified with the bass in 2.0 using 125wpc marantz monoblock amps.
You think you will get an avr soon? At least something cheap
to watch movies?

Well video shielding would matter if the tv was a tube tv
and the speakers were close enough to matter. The rc-64ii is still shielded
though.

Here’s the new rf-7ii no wrap around the magnet for the video
shielding.
-
I think the new 7's weigh less than the older 7's.
Yes they use a different kind of magnet (neodymium magnets),
and the new ones aren’t video shielded so there’s no metal around the magnets
-
The old rf-7s are only 1.4”s taller than the rf-82s. Which
means the rf-7ii are monsters![]

It have the same on screen stuff as the link I posted?
-
Here’s a link to a great walkthrough
-
I'm not home to check right now but can my Harmony One control it? That would be cool.
I’m guessing it would not sure though. Being able to tap the
volume for your subs during a movie is so nice (without having to go into your
avr set up. that’s a pain in the middle of movies plus you have to remember to
change it back)[] -
The sms-1 does a sweep from 15 Hz to 200 Hz and you can see
and hear the sweep on your screen. And it plays over and over and every time
you move or change anything you can see how it affects the graph. Every room will change how it looks you get a
chance to really see how good your subs are and how well it works from your lp.
It might be different from the sms-1 not sure though thought I heard they are
the same. I do know that is the same mic that the sms-1 comes with. Having a remote for subs rocks
-
Youth that’s the she same mic and eq my Velodyne's SMS-1 is.
What a great tool that is. Don’t run the auto test though that part is junk because
it won’t change the frequencies just the level s of the standard ones. Jump in
and do it manually if you have any ? on
how to use it let me know. You’re going to love that eq when you watch it on the
screen and get it to a flat response you won’t want to give it up. Do a little
homework on the sms-1 I’m pretty sure that’s what you got inside that sub.
-
It looks better with the full wall but I wouldn’t be able to
hide such awesome looking speakers (rf-83 or rf-7). But I would be scared with
young kids running around.
-
How wide is your room youth?
-
Another
That’s quite the ball of cords lol []
-
Is there any way to move everything to the other side of the
room and then have your lp away from the back wall so you can open the doors? Or
I would definitely change the door to open the other way. I would be way too scared that the 7 would get
hit.
-
Your room looks awesome I’m jealous of the projector []
-
Another thing to try I know 95% of people would set
everything to small and the crossovers would vary but I run the 7s and the 64
as large. I’ve tried tons of different ways and large in my room and set up
just sounds best. But I think it’s more that I run 3 subs and by running the
speakers as small the subs run to hot (signal) and get too much mid bass so by running
them on large it tames the mid bass and to me sounds better. Also gives me a way
flatter response on the sms-1.
