  1. Oh I see in your sig you have khorns now! Congrats sir
  2. Schu nice to see you..(Are you rolling with the La Scala‘s?) Please send me a message what you want for that. I’ll read up on it and see if it has what I’m looking for. Thanks
  3. I most definitely don’t want that again lol…..
  4. Lmao 🤣 😂😂 It’s very good to see you too Shiva! On my older pioneer sc-55 the DSP went out (I think that’s what it’s called). Apparently there was an issue with those chips ,and mine went out past the time that they would replace them. My latest AVR is a Yamaha I bought it used and I believe the same thing happened it..you turn it on but the speakers are gone. It turns on but the speakers won’t engage.
  5. If I went with Mcacc I could get something in the older lineup like the sc-95. Used there pretty cheap.
  6. Have you had a chance to compare any of them?
  7. Hello my Klipsch family (Been awhile since my last post) Another receiver has bit the dust 😞…. So I’m back researching. I have always really liked pioneer elite Mcacc but, i’m now reading about this new Dirac Live.. all opinions are welcome. good to see you all!
  8. Every time I read one of your posts Chris I learn a ton of stuff of course (thanks 👍).... And I’m also reminded of just how little I know (thanks 😉).
  9. This is true... But for bass in my experience in a home setting (with those rooms being much smaller then a venue). Bass IMO is humongous pain in the ***. The Cornwalls that I had on concrete (even in corners) compared to the living room 1 floor up on wood framed floors (not even in corners) was extremely different. Others can chime in but it would be my guess that a room in a home setting might have more acoustic overall affect than a large space like a venue where the walls, ceilings and floors are normally a large distance away from the speakers?
  10. Reference line versus the Klipsch Pro Cinema line 🤔. Theres another member on here that awhile back in describing the difference between a certain musician and another (can’t remember who he/she was) but his quote was something like (of course using speakers in this analogy). the reference line would be like someone painting a portrait using watercolor paint.... compared to that of the Mona Lisa (which would be the pro cinema line) IMHO There’s a lot of things to consider. Where do the speakers go? How much does size and visual appeal based on one’s personal preference matter? Etc etc, But performance comparison... it’s water paint versus Mona Lisa. But ignorance is bliss. If someone’s coming from something nowhere near what a top end reference line will give. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed. Even coming from something better I still actually can’t imagine anyone being disappointed. Even though one is worlds better. 7s are no joke!
  11. Ahh.. well played old friend...The Klipsch one is on the other speaker 👍.
  12. A La Scala one next maybe $28 bucks pretty cheap....😁
  13. The guy on eBay that sells the plaques (Klipsch and others). I sent him a message and asked him if he could make me one that said “effortless”..... to my surprise he sent me back a picture back “ like this?” 👍👍
  14. Billy that went over my head 🤪.
  15. Yamaha advantage rx-A820
  16. Found replacement thanks for the help
  17. Hello all, my pioneer elite sc-55 has died so I need a replacement. Budget 300-500 used probably best option Of course. But any gems that are popular in like a clearance on a online outlet store currently could work as well. I’ve been out of the loop as far as keeping up with gear and what’s what so any tips on the good values would be very helpful...... Im in the Minnesota Minneapolis/stpaul area if that’s helpful
  18. Hello my Klipsch brothers been awhile 😊 looking for a replacement for my sc-55 (may she rip). Would like something in the same class of quality and function, as well as Bluetooth would be nice addiction. My budget is around $500 tops. But 300-400 is about what I’m looking to spend. Also I’m not really up on what’s what over the last 5 years on gear. So basically even if you have nothing to sell please all tips and info are very welcome to post here ..... I’m in the Minnesota St. Paul area thanks
