  1. We feel ya, so........how much are you charging for your body ? j/k
  2. Cool, that's some good news. Anyone try it with a pair of Promedias? Hate the idea of buying a pair of 4.1 or 5.1's and then zorching them in less than 10 minutes Steve
  3. splinter, there's more to it than that. Some electronics are designed for 60hz and that's it. Here in Oz, we have 50 hz. While my xformer steps 220 down to 110, it's still at 50hz. Reason I ask is that when I first got here in Oz, my Altec Lansing kept blowing fuses in the sub, couldnt handle the 50hz (i'm guessing). I'm hoping to hear from someone who has tried it, hoping they were successful. Why do I want the US speakers instead of the Aussie promedias? Namely price, and namely I return to the states in a few years thanks.........steve
  4. Any of you's get a set of Promedias from the US, and use a transformer successfully with them? A transformer would take them from 220 to 110V, but at 50hz. If so, pls lmk. v/r, Steve
  5. anyone receive their 4.1's from microdirect successfully? Steve
  6. Those microdirect people are offering the 5.1's for $995, how can they do that if they are not out yet? Just a preorder? Anyone buy from these guys before? Experiences w/ them? Steve
  7. quote: Originally posted by Dan F: If bleeding edge game sound is not crucial in your decision, then the XP is a good choice. Hi Dan, What if bleeding edge game sound is CRUCIAL, what would you recommend, for both the 4.1's and the 5.1's? Primarily the 4.1's Steve
  8. Hi, Has anyone here bought theirs from the states, and plugged them into a transformer? My transformers can do 110Volts @ 50hz, can the promedias handle the 50hz without choking? Anyone know? v/r, Steve
  9. First time I read it, I thought she said send me your soundcards Also, hello Klipsch lovers. Steve
